pop ups work.... but the carry handle is better. or just get a red dot. and a back up sight. |

You can also get a removable carry handle, or a removable cut carry handle.
You can actually run into very minor issues with a fixed carry handle and an F marked front sight base. It's noting that a sight tool can't fix though. |

Cdnn usually has detachable handles for around $30. Some places charge a lot for them. My next upper will be a fixed. I'm done with my ray gun phase and enjoy kiss guns a lot more these days.
Number 6 wore a chopped handle before I sold her. |

I have a couple of their 20" Gov't profile barreled uppers with the detachable carrying handles. |
