I looked at the pic you used for your inspiration after you said something about banging your noggin, and it looks like his scope is almost contacting the lense on his safety glasses. LOL. I guess that could get annoying. And a carbine usually jumps a bit more than a rifle, so..... it seems like he'd be banging away at his goggles too. If he actually had to shoot it like that. I have to admit, when I shoot my M4gery with that scope on the carry handle, sometimes the charging handle bangs my lip a little. Not enough to hurt though. But it is kind of annoying. Give me a kiss...... boom |

With the stock hammer spring it's about a 6 lb. pull, and you also get a 4.5 lb hammer spring (I'm using the 4.5 lb). The only downside for using it with a clone is the steel is teflon impregnated which gives it a bright grey coloring. A Birchwood Casey blue pen might solve that-haven't tried that myself yet. |
