Has anyone built a A2 10.5 rifle? I am waiting on stamp. A2 shorty stock with RRA rifle with their 10.5 heavy barrel.

My questions is I know you get into F and non FSB with A2 but will it effect a 10.5

While I have not built and A2, I'm not entirely sure what you are asking. Are you inquiring if there is a difference between a "F" marked fsp and one that is not?
I have had one that was (BCM middy) and one that was not (LMT carbine). I did not personally notice a difference between the two.

Flat tops get F marked FSB.  Carry handle uppers get non F marked FSB.

I have an A2 SBR with a 11.5" barrel. It has a F marked FSB. I have no issues with it and it accuracy.

Why not? To me, unless you are doing a Mk18 build (which is not an A2), XM177/XM177E1 clone, or XM607 clone, there is no reason not to use the 11.5" barrel with an A2 SBR. Colt even uses the 11.5" barrel on its Commando models.

I wish this thread would take off like all the other pic threads.  I think a 12" CHF A2 just got moved to next on my list, although mine will be a pistol for at least a little while.

Anybody running these on a pistol lower?  How does it handle/balance?

All of a sudden I feel like a 12" and a 20" are the only rifles I need, and everything else was just a compromise.

i need to somehow ignore this thread.  My new to me bare A2 upper might get a bit shorter treatment.
