I know these are special because they have low IR signature and given they're hard to find States side.  But $500.00 a set ... Sorry but I don't think I have enough lube

I have seen a number of expensive items come up on the EE from sixteeners out of Canada with their first post. Seems odd.   I don't see any takers on these furniture sets; Will be interesting to watch.

Here's one I was eyeballing:

I looked at pics posted on Manitoba Rifles of Canadian Forces field pics of C7 and C8 and the stock set for sale appears authentic . I know that the Canadian CAR stocks have a slight texture to the area on top but it doesn't show well in the pics. That is a pricey set at $500!

Dude dropped his price to $400; 260 hits and no replies.

Anyone have any reference for an actual recent selling price for these?

I'd give $100 for a set of those, but I'm a little leary bout a guy who joined the site last week and is selling an item for high dollar on his first post.  Is that discrimination?

The sets sold for around the $325CDN. The sets were bought back from the CF. I was told there was only about a 100 sets each of rifle and carbine.

I couldn't agree with you more

If there were 100 sets of each rifle and carbine, which put these in "rare air" territory, it's such a soft market right now for AR stuff.  Even the hardest of all the hard core CF fans could stomach these at $230 USD a set at the current exchange rate, let alone a mark up of $170 per set

I think I would rather spend the money on some 601 furniture or an optic......

Not at all authentic, but you could put together a fake set for $72 from "Tony's Custom."  They list green A2 handguards, a green CAR stock and a green A2 grip.  Although I've never ordered anything from them before.

I've bought from Tony's, all was good.
