Some pictures would help . I really need some measurements of the height and width. I was thinking of making them out of aluminum but I could make them out of black Deleon.

Thanks for the help. John

Remember the angle on the rear side of the Diemaco BUIS is opposite angle of the front of the Elcan sight mount so they match up tightly on the rail.

Will the Diemaco sight work well with a DD fixed front sight?

I have no idea, sorry.  I have used mine on several different makes of AR's and they lined up just fine.  They do get pricey sometimes.  I forgot I had one and was looking for one for my SA20/C7 and was surprised to see them in the $200 range - was pleasantly surprised to find it in my parts box again.  I'm sure there will be some demand for the OP's metal clone products if he can get his hands on a sample.

I swear I saw a pictures of a DDA1.5 on C8's and they were all installed backwards, but could have been mistaken. Wish I could find that picture....

I think they all were. That's 490 of each model, so that's 980 rifles.
