HI folks

Does / did anyone make a reproduction Simon Sleeve for a C8A1 clone?
I have a Colt 6721 barrel inbound for such a build.

If not what are the dimmensions for it so I can be made?

I know BCM makes a complete upper, but have all the parts (Deimaco upper etc.)

Thanks in advance.

John Thomas did one for me-

My rifle was based on a Colt "made in Canada" 6721. The stock set was the factory Colt set, cerakoted OD.

Honestly, in retrospect, I should have done the C8 carbine with the lighter barrel. I found the C8 SFW to be front heavy, and a bit odd to shoot. I ended up selling it.

You can also contact member John Brace as he also made a batch

Thanks guys!  Appreciate the feedback, I may use the 6720 bbl as the base instead, and defer the 6721 to the A2 upper for a compact Delta H-bar?

The 6720 barrel is too thin. Even for the C8 profile.

Mine, I had John Thomas do the barrel as well, using the original Colt 6721 barrel. The SFW profile is still pretty fat under the handguards.

Thanks for that feedback.  I really had worked on putting a C8A3 together but finally gave up a few months ago.  Your post helped me ease the pain.  I will stick to my 14.5 inch M4gery.

These are all pictures from a buddy. They aren't mine. He did take all the measurements off a real C8A3. It should help you out to build the ultimate clone. I can just buy the real deal now with the release of the Diemaco SA15.7.

Thanks Rebel, amazing how thing the barrel is at the muzzle.

I'm wondering how a simon sleeve would look on a pencil bbl?
