Used to drive across the Jordanian desert with PVS-5s (Fast Support Vehicle ie 4 seat dune buggy) back in 85'. CD I had a set issued when I was in the 82nd in the early 90's. We had the 7a's at that time too. I love my PVS-5's, they are the C model, and have been modified to accept the AA battery, the military battery and CR-123a. A 2032 button battery will work with a spacer. Really, any button battery will work as long as it is close to the same diameter. I found this out one day when one of the military batteries went dead and I didn't have AA's or a CR123. I took the spare 2032 battery out of one of my red-dots and kept the dead military battery. It powered right up and ran for several hours. |

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, that's a dumb question...
