I have a 16" AR-Stoner 6.5 Grendel barrel that worked without modification.

What profile barrel are you guys using? Gov't or M4?

The only difference being the M4 necks down and has a shoulder in the last 3" to accommodate the mount for a grenade launcher. Since you're not hanging a launcher off a 10.5" barrel, it's an indifferent choice. If anything I would look for a pencil barrel option if available. |
