I have been working on putting the pieces together on a purchase (investment LOL) thanks to your input. I am looking at a used PWS MK216 in excellent condition. The serial number is below 800 so I am unsure how old the rifle is. I was impressed on how light and balanced the rifle is. I am looking to gauge what a fair price would be to purchase this rifle. I am seeing new MK216s going for $2200 online. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Can't answer your question directly.  

I was interested in a mk116 (16 inch barrel in 556) and I posted in WTB forum here.  A dealer sold me one cheaper than any online price and cheaper than locally used ones (private sales).  Came perfectly.
