Is it possible to run a Mid-length Piston on an 11.5 Barrel?  I know it'll be tight but curious.....

12.5" is the shortest you can run a mid-length on.

If you used a piston system that used a 1" gas block you could make it all fit. With some creativity you could run a 1.9" gas block.  I seriously doubt you'd be able to make it run reliably though, very little dwell time.
