THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I am looking to change my upper on my 300BLK to a side charging handle. The concern I have is gas blowback with the suppressor coming out the sides and into my face. A double sided charging handle would be pretty cool. I noticed Primary Weapon Systems now has a piston driven 300Blk. I was thinking that would be the way to go to eliminate the gas blowback.

I am looking for any thoughts or ideas about this as well as any manufacturers that produce 300BlK piston systems in pistol length. I have seen some manufacturers pictures posted from Shot Show showing 300BLk but I dont' think we have seen any hit the market.

Thank you,

Torrey

The only piston system I have any experience with is Adams Arms from Alexander Arms, it seems quite versitile and AA is very cooperative and easy to work with receptive to questions sugestions and getting things to work right the first time, why not drop them a line with your concerns and see if they can help you? They made it work with a half dozen 12" Beowulfs for me.

American Spirit Arms makes a side charger receiver. Got one and built a 6.8 on it with a 18 inch Bison. No issues.

AA stated you can use their pistol length piston system but it needs to be tuned. I prefer not to drill the gas port on a barrel.
