From when it was at the range. Swapped out the MOE for a K2 and when I have access to it will finish cutting and drilling the URX panels in addition to installing the BAD 45 that was supposed to ship with it but got delayed.. Some small stuff I may do to it but other than that it is done.

Ho ho ho, now I have a light on my gun, too!

And, with that, it's got what it was lacking that ought to be on a fighting carbine.

Stuff for future with this gun:  a combination of a head mounted PVS-14/ANVIS/some kind of decent NV along with a DBAL mounted on the gun...a can, probably AAC but maybe SilencerCo Saker, either of which would fit the PA Blackout FH...and MAYBE a magnifier on an LT flip to side mount.

What mount are you using for the WML?

VTAC/Unity FUSION micro hub, with a Unity FUSION short offset rail.
If and when I go to add the DBAL, I'll get the full size hub, and put one of the offset wing mounts on the other side, to have the DBAL opposite the WML.

ETA:  It's not cheap, oh no, but I did want to test the basics of the Unity Tactical system a bit.  And it looks like it could be damn handy when you start putting more stuff on the hub, such as the DBAL on the right, WML on the left...I want to test their front BUIS at some point, to see if I want to include it and consolidate everything to one assembly.

And I just realized I can't use an offset mount as it would get in the way of the lasers on my MEPRO MOR. I'm trying to figure out something so I can move the light as far forward as possible on the rifle.

I don't know...from the pics I can find of the MOR, the lasers look high enough on the structure of it to clear.

If you want to take measurements of the lasers' lateral distance off of center, and height above the rail top, I can try to figure out of you'd have clearance.

Can't as I don't have access to the rifle at the moment being in Germany and everything. The most I can do for you is pics.

You can see the laser port in this pic.

It looks, based on pics of the MOR that I've been looking at, like this is the situation with your beemz.

In which case, a setup like mine has you so fucking good to go that it's just silly.  Unless you have megathumbs, even when you'd be shooting "weak" side and having to engage the light with your "weak" hand over the top of the rail, you aren't going to block those beemz.  And if you want your light farther forward, Unity makes a rail that's extended out forward of the mount.  I'm sure other makers do too.  The reason I went with the setup I did is that the offset rail's mounting lug is, as the name suggests, offset, so you can either set it in closer to the hub, or further out, and I needed it further out to have the WML not interfere with the forward sight.  Since you're a lefty, and would have your light on the opposite side, it's not as much of an issue for you since you you won't have the light in the way of the detent button that locks the sight in the up position.

The CAA folding VFG was standard issue on the early UCIWs.  The newer UCIWs have an LWRC branded one.

At first I thought it looked and felt cheap.  It did fail on me on the 3rd session/about 1200rds in.  The cap on push button for the latch to change positions on the grip flew off, along with the spring.  Found the cap, but not the spring.  LWRC replaced it for me with no problem.

The grip itself is growing on me though.  Allows me to pack it away in a smaller bag.

Here's the pic you requested.  Only difference today is that its wearing a Surefire 556mini instead of a Saker556

New LWRC R.E.P.R. "Scythe" edition. Basically a newer model R.E.P.R. with a 14.7 inch spiral fluted barrel, pinned SureFire SOCOM muzzle brake, tungsten cerakote job, special laser engravings including the new R.E.P.R. logo and a Geissele SSA-E trigger. The R.E.P.R. is chambered in .308 of course, for those that don't know.

Forgive my poorly lighted pictures

The Aimpoint micro T-1 is just a place holder until I get a dedicated optic for it but it works fine out to around 200 yards which is the farthest I can shoot at the moment.

Not to kill your thunder but it's not new. Guess you missed out on the first go around two years back when it was originally conceived of and sold by a completely different dealer, and it was called "MJOLNIR." The only difference is the MJOLNIR was Sniper Gray cerakote and this one is Tungsten. Not that big a difference.

Actually I didn't miss out on it. You think I spent the money on the gun and didn't do a lot of research into LWRC and the different models that have been produced? Lol, in fact I spoke extensively with an owner of the Mjolnir before purchasing to get his opinion on the gun and experience.

That aside, the SCYTHE is not a Mjolnir... yes, it's similar. No it's not the same. In fact the only thing that's actually the same is the barrel length.. The cerakote is a different color (again similar, not the same), the laser engravings aren't the same, the Mjolinr didn't have a Geissele trigger, different muzzle brake, different grip, different stock, no ambi safety on the Mjolnir...

You're not telling me anything I didn't already know. Thanks for wasting your time typing that though.

A gray REPR with a spiral fluted 14.7" barrel at its core. It's the same thing. All the other parts (muzzle device, trigger, grip, stock, safety, etc) were able to be changed/switched out by Larsen at request of the buyer, and are usually changed by the buyer anyway. And who really cares about cosmetic laser engraving? If I wasted my time typing that to give you a heads up, you wasted your time making yourself look like a bitch when all you had to say was "Nah, I did know actually, a MJOLNIR owner actually helped me make my purchase." Good job

Let's not forget it also has the shorter rail/handguard that was originally on the 12.5" REPR, and wasn't used on any other REPR until the Mjolnir.

Lol, you're actually right about something in that comment at least. I did waste my time. The only difference is that I was actually replying to your comment (regardless of how inane it was).

Not sure why you felt the need to leave your asinine comment to begin with, probably jealously, short man syndrome or a combination of the two. Whatever the case may be, you are factually wrong. Both rifles shipped with factory installed accessories with a base price point. The fact that you could have this or that placed on a mjolnir (for considerable more cash) or weather or not you would pay for laser engravings is irrelevant.

Anyway, as you thankfully pointed out, it's a waste of time speaking with plebeians such as yourself. I'm not going to engage in a pissing contest on a picture thread with a mindless twit over childish semantics.

Now run along and check the structural integrity of your ass, boy.

Yep, tally ho on that shorter rail. Got that, the gray paint job, the 14.7" spiral fluted barrel, AND the two position gas block. It's a MJOLNIR copy, and they barely tried to disguise how much they bit off Larsen's build outside of a few aesthetic gimmicks. Shame, really. At the least they could've colored it something other than gray and made it that much less obvious.

"Plebeian," "twit," "boy," and something about checking out my ass. Nope, nobody's taking themselves too seriously trying to impress whatever they see in the mirror, no indication of such here.

Look dude, great that you threw down cash on an LWRC. The REPR is King of Piston .308s and top tier in AR-308s overall. You made a good selection, no taking that away from you. You wanna act like a diva about it? Fine, whatever turns you on, miss. Sorry to disappoint but it doesn't chap my ass any.

However, there are those of us that came before, who were there the first time around, and recognize that what you purchased, albeit a good purchase, is a copy of somebody else's build. A second edition, if you will. And we acknowledge there was an ethical compromise in loyalty towards Larsen over it, which was kind of a shitty thing to do. That's all there is to it. Behavior like yours in response was your choice to proceed with.

Put a light and an Elcan 1-4x on top and you'll be ready for anything.

Eh, I don't really know if it's an "ethical compromise" towards what Larsen put together for those of us who bought them.  It's a very sensible REPR build, and one which I seem to recall Darren liking a lot, and muttering about adding to the standard lineup, maybe.  Gray is a good color for it, and so long as they don't try to pass it off as a Mjolnir, I don't think I'd call it any kind of slap at Larsen or attempt to be anything but what it is...a repeat of a damn fine idea, with different markings to keep it distinguishable.

The muzzle device, the trigger, the furniture and the selector, well those are pretty much just icing on the cake, they're things which are very much personal preference of the supplier, and aftermarket, of the buyer.  Personally, I changed the furniture and trigger on my Mjolnir, have plans to put a 45* BAD ASS in it, and to swap the A2 FH for an AAC Blackout QD.  Funny enough, that's exactly what I'd do to a Scythe if I ever got my hands on one (well, I might leave the brake, and see how I like it), as I don't care for the wide/sloped cheek style of stock, don't want an SSA-E on a battle rifle configuration (my MJ has an SSA), and prefer the 45* BAD ASS selector.

ETA:  Just noticed one more difference between the two.  For whatever reason, the Scythe has a different receiver end plate.  It's a bit odd and puzzling.

Nice Repr.   If riflegear had this in stock when I bought my Leonidas Reaper, I would have pick up the Scythe edition instead of the Leonidas.

Have you ever used the ambi safety on a LWRC? It's fantastic. I have a battle arms ambi safety on several of my AR's, including the one pictured above, and it's no where near the quality of the LWRC safety. No way I would pay extra money to swap out a LWRC ambi for a BAD-ASS unless you just have to have the 45* (would it even work in the REPR lower?). Just my two cents.

I'd also recommend giving the SureFire brake a chance. Again, I've had the 7.62 version of both (AAC and SureFire) and the Surefire wins hands down. The AAC I had was pinned to a Noveske 300 BLK upper and the SureFire does a better job at eliminating recoil on the REPR than the AAC did on the BLK. It is more obnoxious though. Again, just my two cents.

The SSA-E is a little light for a battle rifle I guess, though it's a fantastic trigger.
