Love the UBR, but between it and the Elcan the rifle qualifies for the bertha award. The buffer tube on the UBR is different than a normal milspec one, so yes I had to switch it out.

Bought this Ruger SR 556 in the late summer and she has run like a hosre. I have added a Magaul E-mod stock and magpul grip along with a 3 lb timney trigger and KNS roll pins(could not stand the factory trigger) and also added a PWS muzzle break and this puppy works(not to pleasent for the guy next to you).

That would be a sear pin.... that's a full auto gun.
