What is the electrical current limit for the Surefire switch? Can it handle 5-6 amps? I ask because I run some pretty hot custom P60 drop-ins in my M952 that draw a lot of current.

Also, are the leads user removable and/or replaceable? Can you run the unit with the ATPIAL lead removed if you aren't running an IR targeting system?

Let me get you an answer on this. The electronics are isolated and thermally regulated, so it certainly would not damage the unit, but ill have to do a test at 6 amps to answer your question.

The leads are not replaceable / removable. You would have to tape / zip-tie the insight lead.
