Right! Keep your cracked feed lips and mag bodies! But don't like the diarrhea toilet water color.

If you're gonna go with PMAGs you really should upgrade to the Sand PMAGs and dye them yourself, they are much stronger.

As for steel feed lips, I train and shoot in the PNW, no rust on any of my Lancer mags thus far, despite the frequent exposure to rain and the like.  If rust was a serious concern, how did anyone manage to fight wars with the AK, FN FAL, Garanda, or any other rifle with steel magazines lol

From us or from Lancer?  If it's us, that's a monumental mess up and I'll overnight you a refund check.  If from Lancer, contact em directly and have em square you away.

It is directly with Lancer and I have sent emails with promises that they should be ready anytime but no cigar. The last email I received said they were extremely backed up with high demand and re-tooling some equipment with some design changes also. They said Mid summer 2016 and that has gone and passed.

May 15, 2016

To our Customers:

The L7AWM .308 Hybrid Magazine is on backorder and will begin shipping again in mid summer 2016.  This delay is the result of extraordinarily high demand, as well as several minor changes to the production tooling to assist in the manufacturing of our L7AWM hybrid magazines. We apologize to you, our valued customer for the inconvenience. We have been amazed by the volume of magazines that we have sent out the door the last two years and appreciate all the support you all have shown for our hybrid family of magazines. Your emails, calls, comments and overall feed back is seriously taken into account, and helps us improve on our products. While we finish up the improvements, rest assured that the aesthetics and feel of the magazine has not changed. The changes will provide the user with a stronger, more reliable magazine with a longer service life than any other 7.62 magazine on the market.  Thank you, as always, for your loyalty and understanding.

I have sent more emails since asking for a status of my order but no replies yet. I really like their magazines and wanted some for my 308 build but I am giving up and writing this off as a mistake. I will just order other manufacturers magazines from now on.

Hi floridajpr,

We sincerely apologize for the delay and understand and appreciate your frustration.

Our production lines and shipping department are working as hard as they can to get the L7's out to our customers; dealers and end-users, alike.

And for the past, few months we have been, steadily, filling orders in the order in which they came in, depending on production scheduling.

Honestly, the tooling changes, mentioned in release you posted and production changes took longer than we had hoped or planned.

Changes have been implemented to help ensure an occurrence like this won't happen again.

We know this does not excuse the tardiness of your order but please know we are doing everything we can to make sure everyone who ordered L7's from us will get them as soon as possible.

Please, do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments.

Sincerely,

Dan

Cool, just bought 2 as well. I have never owned any Lancer mags, and always wanted to try them, and the translucent ones are worth giving them a go.
