Says the guy who took the pics

Those do look good. I need to do a retro build.

You guys are getting close to being able to provide full retro kits.

If you offered your <16" carbine barrels with pinned (correct looking) moderators or A1 flash suppressors (depending on length of course), it would be awesome.

I just built one of the lowers last week.  Fit and finish were great.

Well.....so much for this build being the last. Got no reason now not to do a USAF GAU clone.

They look nice and I hope that they have enough in stock. My NDS upper and XM-16E1 lower took about 8 months but the quality is fantastic. I see that NDS is doing some of their work.

ETA on when the upper might be back in stock?

Has any thought been given to offering C7-style uppers with the Brunton brass deflector? These uppers are the best option for southpaws looking to build retro clone rifles, and are extremely difficult to track down.

I would really like to see the C7 upper as an option, as well.  I've been keeping an eye out for one for a unique build I have in mind, but have thus far been unsuccessful.  I'm left handed, and the shell deflector is definitely not optional for me!

These retro build options are cool to see, though, even if I can't safely partake.

Put the shell deflector on the carry handle then.

Or the rail mounted type. Or a brass catcher. But that might get in the way of a lefty.

I like the lowers alot.

I am aware of those, I just don't like how they look compared to the integral shell deflector on the C7 uppers.

Hey Brownells, can I get an accurate weight for these, preferably in oz? The PWD needs moar data.
