The Beretta and Glock mags make sense. But i didn't think they're would be enough SW 9mm for that support. But I don't know much, most cops here use 40sw Glockb or M&Ps, not the 9mm.
Either way, still freaking cool. My dad carries a SW Spec Ops 9mm with the 20rd mags. He'll like this for sure. Only complete rifles? No parts? |
|
Everything is proprietary except the rail and upper receiver.
Bolt, barrel, lower--nothing will retro so just complete guns |
|
ETA? Home run BTW! I want a rifle then the 8 inch upper glock mags!

I would like one in 45 ACP please. As amazing as these look, I'd be in for a .45 also...and if anyone could build a perfect one, wouldn't it be WC? Well you would think that Wilson would make one because Wilson and seeings how I want one it seems like reason enough. |

Pistol availability? I have not seen one yet. I want to SBR one and assuming that the carbine is more difficult/expensive to convert.

Huh, neat. Wilson is smart to capitalize on the non 223 market
|

Yes thanks. We focused more on accuracy and reliability than price and barrel/bolt compatibiity with other pistol caliber AR's.
Because the majority of the pistol caliber AR's were modeled after glorified conversion like the "Colt" they don't always work well or lock back 100% We hope to have fixed the typical issues people report with these guns. |
|
With the current strength of the AR market there is probably room for a higher end " bulletproof" 9mm with a known name like Wilson. Nice to see Wilson taking the risk of investing time and money on this.

I wish there was a lower that would accept CZ75 magazines. I'm pretty invested, although I can see why as the market isn't nearly as large as Glock and S&W.

View Quote <Devil emoji> CZ75 mags are pretty close to Beretta mags. I bet you could modify the Wilson mag catch to fit... </flames off> (Or you could try 1st w/ a KelTec SUB 2000) |

Any chance of a version for pre-ban states (comp, fixed stock)?

I agree with everyone else on building a Glock large frame lower to handle mags for all the 45acp and 10mm family of cartridges (there’s a lot of cartridges that can use glock large frame mags). The 45 and 10 are pretty different in performance when coming from a 10.5" to 12.5" barrel, in comparison to a 5" barrel. Heavier pills and/or slower powders...bump up momentum and kinetic energy into higher class. You can get around a 15% increase in momentum and around 30% increase in KE (well, a 25% to 35% increase depending on weight, but that's a lot for a very reasonable package)...but the large pistol cartridges would have to be gas operated. This may mean restarting from ground up, and not just adapting current model. But I think it'd be worth it. I think your LRBHO is likely to be the top selling feature here. Holding open for so many mag types is a big deal. Such multi-mag option for the large pistol cartridges does not exist (that I know of). Fluting of bbl is nice for weight saving, the muzzle thread pitch is nice to see bc it’s more common. Haven't seen 5/8-24 35cal and 40cal muzzle devices…but can always drill out existing ones, or have them drilled out. Makes it easy for using all of our existing suppressor mounts...no (semi)exotic thread pitches. And the two stage trigger is a nice touch. I’d make a custom order and ask to switch out the TR-TTU-M2 for the TR-TTU-3G, for kicks. You made mention of all parts being proprietary, to me this means: a) the magazine fit is probably firm, b) LRBHO is probably fantastic and c) you're the only source for spare parts. But Wilson has been around, so I'm not worried about it. I doubt you’d go with nitriding all the steel parts, including barrel and bolt..but doing so removes rust as a concern (for most of us). Plus, the material just never really wears (for 99% of normal guys). I don’t realistically expect full QPQ nitriding on all steel parts, but it’d be nice and why not? |

Left side eject option... Please?
Shooting a right-side ejecting PCC suppressed from position Southpaw is zero fun. I have a Stag 9L already but would gladly buy a left handed Glock mag option to go with it. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

What was done to mitigate gas blowback? About the only reason I have avoided the 9mm AR game is too much gas blowback, especially suppressed. If this truly has minimized the blowback for suppression use I'll definitely be ordering an 8" SBR.

For those of us who live in un-free America any possibility of selling the lower without the stock and an upper without the barrel?

Will you guys sell parts? I would love to buy a 14.5 in barrel an a bolt. I like building and want to use my own rail and upper.

View Quote I think they greatly underestimated the demand they'd have for this and are working hard to supply pre-orders of complete rifles. I doubt they'll have parts available for sale until they can comfortably meet the insane demand for the complete rifles. Same goes for introducing any variants other than what is already available. |
