We have incorporated all the things we have learned and know about completing 80% lower receivers. The Heavy-Duty Jig is the fastest, most accurate, easiest and most durable Jig available by anyone. It has no comparison to any other Jig.
The Standard Universal AR-15 80% Jig had already set the bar for the best jig available and this new jig takes it to a whole new level. The Heavy-Duty Jig is virtually indestructible. We designed this Jig to be the last Jig you will ever need to purchase. Replacement parts and damaged lower receivers is a thing of the past. With Modulus Arms Heavy-Duty Universal AR-15 80% Jig and an unlimited supply of 80% lower receivers you will never need to leave the house again.... except to go shoot stuff. Ordered one of these heavy duty jigs about a week or two ago. It works fantastic and everything is to spec. I've done 6 tm lowers with it and the jig doesn't even look like it has been used. Extremely impressed with this product and how well it holds together. Highly recommend.

Great product. I bought one last month to complete an 80% 6061 lower that did not fit my 80% Arms Jig. Worked perfectly by indexing off of the front pivot pin and the threaded buffer area. Would recommend it.

Besides Modulus, are there any other 80% lowers that fit this jig perfectly? I know sometimes lowers have compatibility issues.

What drill press would you guys recommend for folks wanting to mostly do these lowers but maybe light use in other applications/hobbies?
Is there a list or anything? I want the best drill press for the least amount of money. |

We have had some customers use an 8" drill press. We recommend a 12" or greater but it isn't necessary. With a Speed Drill you can use a simple hand drill.

I just bought an easy jig..... Maybe I'll try the modulus 308 jig in the future if they give me a good discount.

I have made 2 lowers(Anderson 80%) and am less than pleased with the outcome. Without going into the details and sounding nasty I will say that I am going to be sticking with my 100% success rate on quite a few 80%'s 80% Arms easy jig. Good luck.

The Modulus seems to be the most well thought out but haven't used it yet so would like to know what to be aware of problem wise. |
