Nice looking mounts. Any pictures of the adjustment screw side? How many stops per rotation of the adjustment screw does it have? The ADM's have 8 IIRC and I always felt it would have been better with about twice that many. Of course changing the thread pitch would be another way to make it more finely adjustable.

Any legit rtz tests? I saw some on youtube using steel. I'd like paper with computer analysis of group center, at a minimum. 10 shot groups from a precision platform.
Also, what surfaces does this index off of? The top of the rail, or just the angles on the side? |
The mounts sit on the top rail and a few edges . This ensures the mount always sits flat with no cant even if the rail is larger or smaller than spec.
Thanks. |

We will get weights of all current mounts on our web site tomorrow .
Thanks Troy MI |

It's great to see these have more available adjustment positions than the ADM mounts.

Looks awesome! Are these made by ADM like the vortex marked ones?

Troy, do you have an extended version in the works? I normally need more forward offset because I shoot NTCH and many of my scopes have ~4" eye relief.

No. These are a different design. I'm pretty sure MI is making these in house, though it does look like they licensed the clamp design. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Either way I'm in for one! Got a couple new sticks to outfit after this deployment. |

The new product release section has been abandon by many manufacturers due to the constant issues from people who do nothing but complain. I'm not sure why you had to play clean up here, but it gives me a glimmer of hope for this section.... Back to the mounts, I have several new release items from MI, and they seem to be doing extremely well. |

Any low mounts coming for T-1s or PRO's to get the optic as low as possible to the rail for guns like the FN PS90 that already has elevation to the rail for a proper cheek weld?
Any news on that rail pictured, as it seems different from your current rails?
Wish the lever was on the other side I'd get one for my M4s in a heartbeat. But I will get one for my PRO

The lever is on the right to keep the charging handle side clean. The left side is also the side that will rest on your chest or kit when in two point carry . This will ensure no snags on your gear.
Thanks. Troy MI |

Roger that, I was just trying to shed some light on why we chose the right side for the levers. Troy MI |

The mounts look really good! How is the return to zero on them when taking them off and mounting them again?
Also, in the picture above is a MLOK rail but I noticed the barrel nut mounting design looks different than the SSM. Is this something new? |
Return to zero has proven to be very good , it is important to remember what ever system you use to install and reinstall them the exact same way to get best results.
Thanks Troy MI |

Any word on the weight of the 30mm scope mount and how far forward it moves the optic?
That info has all been added to each part on the web site. 1.4 offset from the base to the back of the first ring. 8.40 oz.
Thanks Troy MI |

I finally got around to testing my T2 mount, and it had a RTZ shift of 1 MOA, as best I could measure at 50, 75, and 100 yards. Here is the 50 yard group comparison: http://i58.tinypic.com/2e5pr94.jpg The group on the right was fired at one sitting. The group on the left was fired taking off and replacing the mount for each shot, properly indexing it forward in the same 1913 slot that it was removed from. I may have to try oe of these on my Primary Arms Micro Dot Gen 2 which rides on a .475 TREMOR. The PA QD mount failed in about 10 shots and while a UTG fixed base works, I have little faith that it would hold zero if removed since the fit is rather sloppy. If the MI QD mount fits the PA optic, and it should since it uses a T1 base, and it holds up to the .475's recoil then it will certainly hold up to any 5.56 or .308 or anything in between.

That would make for one heck of a fun rifle.
