Did you guys test these for debris?

Just curious, specifically with the takedown pin. Any chance of dust/dirt getting into the lower receiver and FCG?

They look fantastic.

Thanks.

Glad to see you ran with my idea/suggestion on these!  (In your lightweight upper andlower thread a few months ago I requested that you all make a run manufactured this way and you see said you'd add it to the list).

I'll order a set in a month or two. Any plans for aluminum pins manufactured in a similar fashion?

No problems that I can think of... It's a through hole, so if dirt gets in one side, it can only go out the other. If anything were to stay in the rear lug, it would be carried out by it when opening I would think.

You guys put out some awesome shit. I just want to give you a shoutout for being a good company. After reading the mess that Mako got themselves in a few threads down with the Mepro true dot RDS, it was good to see something positive from a company that actually takes care of their customers. Keep on keepin' on 2AA. That is all.

Am I missing something?  Forty bucks for a third of an ounce savings?  ...I guess I must be.    But hey, free market.
And for of those you who want some black ones.........http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KKKYUQ/  but watch out, that paint adds a tremendous amount of weight.  so be careful.  lugging all that back and forth at the range table, you gonna wear yourself out.  don't try and be a hero.
........the more you know.

Love your products. If I ever do a lightweight gun.....

I had some noveske pins cerakoted for a build. I don't have a lot of rounds through the gun yet but it's holding up better than I expected on the portion of the pin that slides in the upper.

Aluminum is lighter but also weaker. So I'd use aluminum for some of the parts.
