Did you guys test these for debris?
Just curious, specifically with the takedown pin. Any chance of dust/dirt getting into the lower receiver and FCG? They look fantastic. Thanks. |

We saw these at SHOT and they look fantastic in person. Keep up the good work guys.

View Quote No problems that I can think of... It's a through hole, so if dirt gets in one side, it can only go out the other. If anything were to stay in the rear lug, it would be carried out by it when opening I would think. |

So light the rear doesn't register on the scale.
I'll be shooting you guys an e-mail tomorrow to get stuff together for the shop. |

View Quote Glad to see you ran with my idea/suggestion on these! (In your lightweight upper andlower thread a few months ago I requested that you all make a run manufactured this way and you see said you'd add it to the list). I'll order a set in a month or two. Any plans for aluminum pins manufactured in a similar fashion? |

After testing our adjustable carrier to it's capabilities, we will make a few titanium versions. However that could be down the road a ways. With the Xanthos set, rails, and other projects on the horizon, we are picking and choosing what needs to get done. |

Look sweet! Great to see more options in the extreme weight savings area. I like the natural finish.

You guys put out some awesome shit. I just want to give you a shoutout for being a good company. After reading the mess that Mako got themselves in a few threads down with the Mepro true dot RDS, it was good to see something positive from a company that actually takes care of their customers. Keep on keepin' on 2AA. That is all.

Off to find this Mako thread! |

Am I missing something? Forty bucks for a third of an ounce savings? ...I guess I must be. But hey, free market.
And for of those you who want some black ones.........http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KKKYUQ/ but watch out, that paint adds a tremendous amount of weight. so be careful. lugging all that back and forth at the range table, you gonna wear yourself out. don't try and be a hero. ........the more you know. |

If I ever do a lightweight gun..... I had some noveske pins cerakoted for a build. I don't have a lot of rounds through the gun yet but it's holding up better than I expected on the portion of the pin that slides in the upper. |

[#38]
Like all 2A products these pins are quality all the way.... Just picked up a set
2A, I'm patiently waiting for the rail... You guys teased us with a picture. Any ETA on that? |
|
[#40]
Any chance these are shipping in black soon? Also are you guys possibly thinking about an aluminum version?
Thanks, these pins look amazing I am probably going to get a set just because the look that good even if you dont offer them in black. |
|
[#41]
We keep talking about doing them in black, but I have yet to find the time to hammer out the details with the guys.
Aluminum would be bad in my honest opinion, I think they would gall real bad in the track. |
|
[#42]
just got mine in and installed. They look great. My first of many titanium components for a lightweight gun I am building
|
|
[#43]
Aluminum is lighter but also weaker. So I'd use aluminum for some of the parts.
