One of the ways the military test the strength of stocks is thru its drop testing. Most of this is done at approximately 5 feet. Most commercial stocks fail. See this demo at almost 3 TIMES that!
Over a year in design, development, and testing…
Bravo Company introduces the BCMGUNFIGHTER Stock.
• Snag free Design. No sharp edges prevent tangling of therifle with the shooter's sling, molle gear, or other kit.
• Modular VBOST (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab) – Thistab interfaces with the shooter's riggers' band or bungee to secure the shooter'ssling against the stock when the carbine is not in use. Increasingly, this isthe most common application when operating inside a vehicle.
• 2 different types of ambidextrous sling mounting options, including QD swivel sockets.
• Integrated color matched rubber butt pad for secureshoulder placement, along with increased durability.
• Simple modular design. 5 parts, and 1 screw allow formodular adaption of future stock options and configurations.
• Available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, FoliageGreen, and Wolf Gray

I'm in! Great looking product. It looks like you guys put a great deal of thought into the design.

We keep hearing about this modular design...
What future additions or modules are you planning that will work with the stock? |
|
I like it. It's less solid/heavy than my B5 SOPMOD, but feels really tough. I have two on order for future builds.
Nice to have more good options that aren't Magpul or Chinese made airsoft shit. |

Received mine the other day. Wouldn't fit on my buddy's BPM rifle nuffer tube which is suppose to be "milspec" from their site. Yet, it fits just fine on an old 4-point stock I had lying around, and fits a bit tighter on my wifes Stag Arms rifle.
Anyone else with this problem? |

Wouldn't fit as in would not even slide on? View Quote Correct. Just gave it a second try, with the wife's rifle and it fits really snuggly, it'll just slide onto the 4-point stock, but my buddy's BPM rifle is still a no-go. I don't have a suitable or small enough way to measure the diameter of his, so I'm not sure if it qualifies for "milspec" with the butt stock, however I've put 3 other stocks on it (USGI 6-point stock, the milspec Magpul MOE off of my AK, and the MOE that came with his rifle) and they all slide on and off just fine. Weird. Is it safe to assume the BCM buffer tube sold on their site will be "milspec" and fit this stock without a hitch? |

Ordered the BCM buffer tube and compared it to the troubling one. Turns out the one that came with my buddy's BPM rifle was commercial grade, as was the MOE butt stock. Considerable difference in length, and now I better notice the slant at the back end of the commercial tube. Stock works great with the correct parts, who knew? Other than a very slight wiggle in the stock when mounted it fits and functions fine. |

Is the FDE versions butt pad FDE rubber as well or is it a black rubber pad?

Still want to handle one of these stocks before I get one. Anyone got both this and the B5 and can compare the two? |

nice, great price too.
i'll be getting one on my Colt soon. |

Trying to find one in FDE they are out of stock (no pun intended) everywhere!

This is why I went with a A2 stock, considering a A1 stock for shorter length of pull. Coming from 8years in the Army, 3 of them carrying an M16A2 down range, I just don't trust collapsible stocks. I even requested an M16A2 over an M4 when I went to Afghanistan, since I knew we would be in long range engagements, that and the way I was taught to fall to the prone as fast as possible, is quite harsh on the stock.

Just got my BCM Gunfighter stock (Along with several other BCM Goodies) today and I have to say I am very impressed. Install was quick and easy and the lockup is VERY solid. Incase anyone is looking at this, I highly recommend it!
Also just a side note if you are using this with the Vltor RE-10/A5SR Extension it will collapse all the way to 1st position. |

I've used the Gunfighter stock now in four AR classes over the past several months...still loving it.
Great piece of kit. |
