I had no issues with the floor plate being a little bigger just noticed it was bigger than most. But had no issues getting a grip and removing them from mag pouches. As for the ribs I think rounding them a little would help. That way they side a little better when removing from a pouch. Thanks again for the great mags keep up the good work. Got some good range time with ETS mags. They have ran fine under full auto and in suppressed firearms. I took a carbine class this weekend and used the mags as much as I could. Only two little things I can think of is a smaller base plate and the ribs on mag stick a little in the pouches. If they where rounded a little more I think that would help. On a side note suppressed full auto fire will turn you mag from clear to black very quickly. Glad to hear they are running well for you. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the ribs and floorplate. Since you have gotten a chance to do some training with them and having to pull them from pouches, did you like the grip on the floorplate when pulling it from the pouch? Which brings up an entirely new question, how many of you guys would rather have a slimmer, smooth mag vs the ribs with extra grip? We thought more people would prefer extra grip, but only time and feedback from you all will truly answer that question... i just ordered two coupled mags. Thanks for the AR15.com discount.
I'll try them in my 3 different-branded lowers and post if they don't work. I'm sure they will, as they're milspec lowers. |

Hey guys we had several people message us about the discount because of a new thread that was in the general discussion forum (apparently they get viewed a lot more...) so I left the discount code active for now to give everyone a chance to try out the mags. I just wanted to let everyone know that was watching this thread that you can still order with the discount code:
AR15com for 30% off. Once again, thanks to everyone for the support. |

Received my order today. Very nice magazines! Haven't shot with them yet, but with everyone having good luck with them I will probably order a few more! Thanks for the discount.
Edit: 4 more inbound |

To my knowledge, no one has tried to dye these yet. Since our material does not adsorb or react in any way with water, I am not sure how well it will take the dye. When it comes to water, our material is extremely different than nylon that most mags are made of. Nylon will react with and for a molecular bond with water, it's also why nylon mags swell in really humid environments. Our material just doesn't take any H2O....but hopefully someone will try it, because I would love to know how it turns out. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Stopped at a red light and hit from behind by a car going 40 that didn't even try to stop. Herniated disc in my back and some other stuff. Driver that hit us was arrested on the spot for warrants and I'm guessing was on something. Still unclear if he was insured yet either. Was his parents car (He's in his 30's) and the card he supplied was expired. I'll take some pics of a few rifles and the mags soon though. Don't wanna leave you hanging! |

The plastic won't melt until around 700 degrees F. And due to it's thermal stability, it can handle over 212* F temps thousands of times without any loss of mechanical properties. |

cool that should work then, i didnt want to make them brittle or anyting. i should throw in an order for two friday.

Finally had a chance to try out these mags, worked fine in a Mega forged lower. They did not work in a Larue OBR however. Very difficult to seat and when I did manage to seat it the bolt rode over the top round, not stripping it from the mag.

If it's considered the USA, then we will get them added. |

Just ordered 3 of the pinned ones to try out in New Yorkistan. Should be a good option to couple a few together. Thanks for making the product, if all goes well I can probably send more orders your way Thanks for trying them out. Be sure to let us know what you think when you get them. Got them in very quickly and at a great price, thanks again! I think they look to be well made and I like the coupling system you guys use. I also like the way that they are fixed to 10 rounds (although I hate this state for what they do to the 2nd amendment. A few more years and I'm gone). Other mags I've bought of this nature have been fixed in a way that some would allow 10 rounds, some would only allow 9. These all allowed 10 rounds in without being able to load 11 even erroneously, while still allowing the mags to seat on a closed bolt without too much difficulty. All in all so far so good, now to get them out to the range to test them I've also gotten a few other people putting in orders as promised |

I figured it would go that way. Thanks for trying it and letting us know. Also, thanks for the quick picks. I was excited to see that you were so excited.... We are working on a tan color and an OD color. It's very difficult to color our plastic and we want to get the look just right and make sure it's repeatable from batch to batch. Also, later this week we will be introducing some accessories for our mags, so stay tuned!!! (There was a good reason we made that button on the bottom the shape of a bullet...) |
