The discount thing is not working. Tried several AR15,com and not valid. Is the discount over

I have to try these out soon. Doing in gun shows in the next year or so? Let me know if you will be attending one in Winston Salem, NC. I'll set up the table and sell them for you if you want, lol!!!!!

Received my magazines today. Ordered a few of each. Absolutely awesome. Just have to put them to the test now!

I love the look of these mags and can't wait to try them. Is there any chance you will be coming out with pinned 10 rounders before there is a complete ban in Commufornia ?
|
|
Any plans of 20 or even 15 round mags for bench shooting? Possibly 5 for hunting? If you had 20 rounders I'd try some out... I rarely use my 30 round magazines anymore..... 20 rounders just seems to work for most everything for me....
|
|
It'd be cool if you made a belt attachment with the coupler on it, so you could just couple the mag right to your belt.

We should have the pinned mags available for sale on our site by tomorrow. I will post back in this thread once they are available. |

We do plan on making some different versions, but those will probably come after the .308 mag is done. We are also working on a sweet automatic (switchblade) knife that should be coming in a few months, so be on the look out for that as well. |

We will have to mock something up and test that out to see if it's a viable way to keep mags on your person. Thanks for the feedback!! |

that belt idea is actualy pretty neat, how about making it so it could be mounted vertical or horizontal, i can see it in my head and i have seen a part that a belt or strap slides through thats square and has slots on all 4 sides but cant find a picture....

might work well like that, be nice to just be able to throw it on a belt an run it stand alone or molle it in to a carrier or something, ill keep my eye out and see what you come up with

I might have to order some more as long as the discounted price sticks around. (I know you had said about 2 weeks?) VERY excited for the 308 mags and hope the 20 round 5.56 aren't TOO far away. I much prefer 20 rounders in my SPR's and precision rigs. |

Your website doesn't take AMEX as a payment option There goes a sale... View Quote Sorry about that. Our goal with the website is to educate people about our mags, not really to sell them. We want to drive sales to our retailers. That said, we thought this promo for the AR15.com community was a good opportunity to give everyone a chance to try them out. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience. |

Is the bullet on the bottom of the mag just a molded in cosmetic?

Only issue I could really find would be for left handed shooters and having the magazine coupled on the right sight of the weapon (since lefties are forced to reach up and engage the mag release on "most" AR platforms with their right hand). The magazine coupled on the right side, although not covering the mag release does get in the way somewhat for speed reloads. View Quote Totally agree with this. I am a left handed shooter and run a left handed AR-15. So unfortunately these mags with not work for me when they are coupled together. The coupled mag with block the ejection port and my left hand mag release. I know you guys have a lot on your plate right now design wise, but it would be nice to see a "left handed" version of these mags. Great product though, love that they are completely transparent and couple together without any additional parts. As soon as you guys make a 20 rounder for bench shooting I be getting one or two for sure, left hand friendly or not and I still may buy some of the 30 rounders any. Love to support new companies, keep up the good work guys, I'll be watching. |

Will these accept a USGI spoon to be fed by stripper clips?
Thanks, Mark |

(I'm actually left handed myself, but I shoot right handed) There was just not a way to make it work without making an entirely different mold. If we get enough demand we might be able to make a left handed version in the future. |

Look likes you could but hard to tell for sure. Be a pretty good solution for us lefties. |

Look likes you could but hard to tell for sure. Be a pretty good solution for us lefties. That's a very good question, but unfortunately the coupler is not designed to work that way. The coupler lock won't work well that way, but it kinda of works. We have been asked several times about coupling the mags "upside down" from each other (not related to lefties) and we always answer that to gain the most efficiency and reduce the chances of "fumbling" the mags when doing a re-load, we wanted to make sure the user did not have to "flip" the mags when doing a change. We put a great deal of thought into the coupling and we feel there is a very specific way to maximize it's use. We will have a video coming shortly explaining all of this in detail, but for now I will try my best to do it in writing. When you couple 2 mags, you should always start with the extra mag on the left side of the gun (opposite the ejection). There are a few reason for this, first, with the extra mag on the left, it will make hitting the bolt release a bit trickier, not difficult, but better to load the mags, then release the bolt before the SHTF. Also, with the extra mag on the left, your mag release is wide open making it easier to hit during a tactical re-load. And last, once you change the mags from left to right, the bolt release will now be fully exposed making your SHTF re-load faster with less chance for any errors. There is tons of scientific evidence that shows us how the first thing to go when your adrenaline kicks in is your fine motor skills. That is why we don't want people to have to flip the mags while doing a re-load, there would be a far greater chance of dropping them. Hopefully this post will make sense, I know sometimes I ramble on..... |

As we said in the original post, we are trying to change people's views on AR mags from "disposable" to an item that will last as long as your AR. With that in mind, we offer a LIFETIME warranty on our mags. If you ever have a problem, or manage to break one ( we haven't been able to yet) just give us a call and we will replace it. We firmly believe that the most important thing a company can do is take care of it's customers, and we intend to do just that View Quote Welp, that seals it. Gotta try 2. |

any plans for 20 rounders' clown View Quote Yeah, but that would be several moths away. Our next projects are getting colored followers and bullet bottoms pieces done so you all can ID your mags for different loads. Then we have an automatic knife coming, then the mighty .308 will follow that. |

Received my non-coupled mags today.... Theyre awesome. Feel good, look good, load fine with 30rds and a closed bolt.
I had previously read a review of someone loading up the mags and shaking them back and forth were the bullets would fly out of the mag, well i sat there and shook like a dummy for twenty minutes and couldnt reproduce those results. Ill be rough on them when i run to the range next, but for now im quite satisfied. Shipping was also super quick, thanks ets |

I just ordered 3 (2 coupling and 1 regular).
Thanks for the discount. I am looking forward to testing them. |

I received two today. I only had limited time with them, but they function fine, and drop freely from both my JP and MEGA billet. They disassemble just as easily as in their videos. I did have a small issue with a sharp surface (I think molders call it a sprue) on one of the mags. There is some excess material on the front seam (right where my index would ride when inserting the mag) that has a sharp edge. It isn't anything that a quick swipe with a hobby blade, or my Dremel can't fix. If you slide your hand down the front of the mag, though, it will take a little skin. Just something to check out on your mags, and certainly no reason to not consider purchase.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone on the forum thus far for a warm welcome for our company. Everyone has been very positive and helpful with their feedback and responses. We knew that diving into a mag market like the AR would be tough with some big names that dominate the landscape. I have been truly impressed by how positive and open minded the people of this forum have been. We wanted to say thanks again for giving us a try and we look forward to earning your future business as well. Thanks from everyone at ETS group. |
