Palmetto State Armory is proud to announce its premier PA10 308 complete upper.
Barrel: 416 Stainless Steel, chambered in .308 Winchester with a 1:10" twist, M4-style barrel extension, and a mid-length gas system. It is finished off with a Midwest Industries 308 SS series 15" Rail, low profile gas block, and an A2 Flash Hider. Upper: The forged 7075-T6 upper is hard coat anodized and comes with a forward assist and ejection port cover. BCG: 9310 Bolt, phosphate coated. PSA 308 Carrier is chrome lined and phosphate coated. Includes charging handle.

Ugh... Just when I wanted to build a 308 AR.
Could you tell us anything more about the barrel? Estimated group size, who produces it, contour/weight. Anything? |

They were back in stock a few days ago. I was able to get an order in as well as a few others.
Still searching for more information on the barrel though. A few people replied on the PSA dealer forum after receiving their uppers, one saying it's just says .308 and 1/10, the other says no marks at all. I'd still like to know some more info about the barrel! Please help PSA.

This may be a dumb question but will this upper fit the psa blemished lower? The lower says "ar-multi" or something to that degree? Didn't know if that meant it was multi-caliber. Have used one on a 300 build and works like a charm.

Have used one on a 300 build and works like a charm. 'Blemished' just means it is cosmeticly not perfect. What is important is the MODEL. Is it an AR-15 lower or a 'PA-10'/LR-308 lower? If it is an AR-15 it will not work. .308 Win is too big for an AR-15 reciever, and this upper is made to mate with an LR-308 lower. Many stand alone AR lowers are marked "multi". They have to mark a caliber by federal law, and they have no way of knowing what caliber you will use, plus you can use several different uppers on the same receiver. |
