We are a small small shop. We have more spindles than employees. A total of 7 people are with 2A, and one of them is gone most of the time. 6 of us do everything. Sales, shipping, accounting, programming, machining, testing, packaging, design, debur, tumble, clean bathrooms, sign checks, social media, ATF work, inspection.... All of it!!! Lots of hats being worn here. and we are completing (fingers crossed) getting our ISO9001, and AS9100 certification in the next few weeks. We all get along very well, and are having a blast with the "Gun Stuff." I hope to be out at more shooting events, and shows as things progress. Thank you for the compliment. |

Do you have an estimate of when Vertex Ops will be receiving the receivers? I am excited to get mine.

The SBR route might happen, we are looking at some pistol options. Still need a rail, and a host of other goodies to make it a "2A-rifle/pistol." If we can get something done for SHOT we will. |

Some small changes..... We are trying to evaluate all the requests we get, and make those changes when it's appropriate in our production cycle. As of now, all the original BALIOS-lite uppers have shipped, and are gone. We have begun shipping the revised upper with the following changes: 1. Re-profiled the front of the upper to more closely match "Mil-Spec" contours. This should open up the compatibility of rails that were at one time not compatible. 2. Added a small window in the rear port door rod retention hole. This will allow some of the detent style QD port doors to be removed if needed, as well as aid in removal of the standard rod. 3. It's now lighter because of these changes. not by much at all (documentation won't change) but it adds up fast!! https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-2j2VR6J2FLY/VDK_riUfszI/AAAAAAAAAEs/QkubuSHstZU/w0-h0-no/IMG_4083.JPG https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-xu_ckLDjGtk/VDK_pSQAH1I/AAAAAAAAAEc/4wztUgdlPsQ/w0-h0-no/IMG_4087.JPG View Quote Nicely done on the dust cover hole! |

None of the ugliness and protrusion of the BAD lever, or the STT equivalent. It's largely out of the way and simply works. Sad that there's only one pre-made receiver for it right now - the AeroPrecision - and I was really hoping for you guys to do one up, but I guess I keep giving AP money. The concept is great, the execution of it is a little clunky to me. I suppose if we had a few folks (10 or more) that wanted one we could get it done. ETA: Yes, I know lots of folks have been asking for a factory SBR version as well. I will put a little more time into that also. |
