mounts to any MIL-STD-1913/Picatinny Rail using a low profile thumbscrew
mount that neatly tucks the light in between the top and side rails of
an M4/M16/AR15 rifle.

There are a lot of uses for a White light while using night vision.  It really depends on your application.  White light can be used in CQB to disorient an unknown person while you make entry. If you hit them with a white light and continue to move they will be disoriented and unable to track your movements..  Often your IR-Laser can illuminate inside small areas sufficiently as well as being used for silent comms.  But again it all depends on the application.

I thought since Martin posted on a regular ARFCOM thread for the first time (besides our Industry forum), I thought I would introduce him here.


Martin Started shooting in 2003 when he got his first handgun.  He also decided to join the military that year, and in 2004 shipped off to Paris Island to make his way into the United States Marine Corps.  After completing School of Infantry and becoming an 0311 Rifleman for the Marine Corps he was assigned to 3/8 I co where he served 3 deployments.  His first deployment was in 2005 to Al Karma Iraq In the Al Anbar province near Fallujah.  His second deployment was to Ar Ramadi Iraq in 2006.  Martin's third and final deployment was with the 22nd MEU in 2007-08.  After his 4 year enlistment was up Martin took some time off and then decided to start working at the Gun Gallery in late 2008 where he worked until leaving to work for TNVC.  Martin is an avid shooter who likes to take training classes from well-known and respected shooters as well as compete as often as possible in Pistol, 2gun and 3 gun competitions.  Martin also is the Co-founder of USCA a 2 gun (Rifle and Pistol) league.

Martin also brings in a wealth of NV field experience during his Marine Core tenure and will be our Programs Lead responsible for a multitude of NV production builds and testing of related hardware. Please join me in welcoming Martin!
