The panels shown are the first shot. The production parts will be a much more Matt finish .
Thanks Troy MI |

They look excellent! So tired of all the vaporware keymod panel covers.... so... WHEN?!?!? |
I like them buuuuuttttt ..... at this side of $75 to cover the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock rails with pieces of plastic is a little unrealistic for me.
These will be offered in Black,FDE,Fol and eventually a few other colors.

you should offer these for sale by the piece. the way id like mine setup is two 5 slot panels, and two 3 slot hand stop panels. i cant have that setup unless i buy two whole package deals. doesnt make since to me. i was really anxious for these to be released to......

Love it I have your other rail covers on my as gen 2 and these will be going on my ssk

Two sets of noveske panels for 19 bucks will do the same thing these panels do for $75. Am I missing something. They look great tho nonetheless.

Also, maybe just because these are pre-production, but they look a little warped on the rail. Would have liked the smallest panel to also be secured with with 2 slots to keep warping to a minimum. |
MI, I love your stuff, but... lower that price, or make it a pack of 6 covers.
And personally, I like the one size panels for your SSG2 rail... I think that making a whole bunch of different sizes may complicate things. |
These appear to be much higher quality than the plastic noveske panels and thus the higher price.
I will try to get some of these for review. I currently run noveske panels on my NSR and Midwest SSK rail. |
I can't find them actually listed for sale anywhere on their website. Is it not actually up and live yet?
Or if it is would somebody mind emailing me the link. Thanks! |

Nice to see another option on the market.
In for 1 of each kit. Thanks MI! |
I just ordered two sets today. I can cover all the spots I need and nowhere near 75.00 including shipping. Hope to have them soon. I will post pics.
just ordered a handstop kit and a panel kit today I will post pics as soon as I receive the FDE ones.

We will be doing these in two additional colors . A stealth gray and a lighter wolf gray.
Thanks. Troy MI. |

What was the reason for having 3 different sizes of covers in each pack instead of all the same size like in your SS gen 2 covers?
The reason is three different lengths. ,3,4,5 slot in length. You can come up any combination odd or even to cover different length rails.

They are great in person, my rail is back from cerakote and I can finally install them tomm, looking forward to it.
I tossed my Noveske covers in the trash after getting these in.
A LOT nicer. Nicely shaped, love the texture and love the way they look. MUCH easier to install than the Noveskes too......... Really happy with how these turned out. |

Attached to my Rainier Arms keymod rail flawlessly and they actually stay tight on the gun after 500 rds (took it out today) |

Will the 3 slot/ hand stop panel fit a regular ss handguard? As it only has one screw I thought it may, provided the hardware is the same. I really don't want to dremel my "proper" version down to fit in front of a lanco gripstop. Thoughts?
also, anyone know what and how many panels I need to cover a 10.5" keymod rail completely?
count how many slots per side.
panels are 3,4,5 slots per panel. there are 9 slots on a 10 inch key mod thanks TROY MI |

Question, what's the rope in the handguard about? View Quote I was trying to think of a way to add grooves or grip to my rifle without adding the weight or bulk, and there is not much out for keymod prior to these great rail covers. So I bought the Warsport Rail bungee for $10 and it is working good so far, just waiting to see how long until the heat destroys it. If it breaks I have the MI rail covers waiting to be put on. But for a cheap light way to add some texture or groove grip to your rail, The Warsport rail bungee works good. |
