Will the extended driver/adjustment wrenches be included with our order if selected at the time of checkout for those of us that run pistol length gas systems and handguards 12in and up?

Any know if the SA7c clamp on will bottom out in a centurion arms cmr rail? Seems like that rail is one of the tightests out there

Seems like that rail is one of the tightests out there View Quote By my math, both the SA7SSC and SA7C will work in the 308 CMR rail. But only the SA7SSC set screw version will work in the 556 CMR rail. inside diameter of 556 rail is: 1.12" https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3677 inside diameter of 308 rail is: 1.25" https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3660 Set screw version with 556 CMR rail The distance from centerline of bore on SA7SSC is: 0.545 = 1.365 - 0.82 . . . See http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=57_73&product_id=84 The distance from centerline of the 556 rail would be: 0.560 = 1.12 / 2 This would leave you 0.15" clearance between the bottom of the set screw block and the inside of the 556 rail....unless I'm doing something wrong. Clamp on version with 556 CMR rail The distance from centerline of bore on SA7C is: 0.580 = 1.40 - 0.82 . . . See http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=57_73&product_id=87 The distance from centerline of the 556 rail would be: 0.560 = 1.12 / 2 This would mean the bottom of the clamp gas block would extend 0.02" past the inside of the 556 rail....unless I'm doing something wrong. Am I doing this wrong? lol |

Some day the feds will let my end cap come home and I'll test the adjustment.

Am I doing this wrong? lol Looks about right. I've installed plenty of DA7-L's and Sentry Set screw versions in 5.56 CMR's. The Sentry clamp on is just a bit thicker on the bottom to accommodate the bolts passing through. Its enough that unless you just should go with a set screw block, no clamp on out there will work with that HG. Todd |

so I get the set screw... I would have to cut the set screws a little to make sure they clear the HAndguatd?

anyone know if the clamping 750 will fit in the new BCM KMR?

That's beautiful! What barrel length is that? View Quote It is a long story but the short of it is that another gunsmith tried to pin/weld a muzzle device on it and screwed up a KAC 14.5" barrel pretty royally. I cut it down to about 14.0" (started the new threads just at the shoulder). |

I may have missed it in the thread, but how many positions does it have? I think the DA7 was 15?

Todd,do ya think you will be the first to have a Clamp on with the .625, to make it under the centurion arms cmr? It'll be tight in there but since it is using a smaller profile it should work in the cmr. I'll be happy to send one out to a cmr user to to test fit. Don't have any around at the moment. Just let me know. We will make set screw versions too of the 6's soon. |

Got my Sentry 7 clamp put on today and tested it with some mild reloads and my somewhat hot 75 OTM accuracy load.
I was surprised how much difference it made, made a soft shooting rifle even softer. Can't wait to try shooting it at distance. |
