Just had one of your other blocks installed behind a pinned muzzle device. Maybe on the next one.

I'm in for one of the .936 ones.  The choices for this diameter is slim and I need one for my LMOS .308.

Could you help me understand when to use a clamp-on gas block and when to use the set screw version? Cannot decide which one to buy.

This is what i think Robe, I like the clamp on,because of the even clamping they provide, the only time i would want a set screw type would be because of there not being

enough room under the rail, and even then i would get it pinned "i just don't like set screws." And with a clamp on you can install and uninstall without leaving a mark on your barrel.

With the sentry series comming the clamp on will be even smaller,,able to fit where other clamp ons can't.

I have a adjustable clamp on under my 13" SLR Solo Lite that doesn't come close to touching the rail.

Everyone will have different opinions why they want one over the other, these are mine.

Will the Sentry .750 clamp in fit your solo 3 gun rail?
Also will the current DA-7 camp on fit your solo 3 gun rail?

Thanks

I recently purchased a gas block from you and am mounting it on a carbine gas system under a 15" NSR.  Needless to say, I need a long set screwdriver.  Do you have any idea when they will be back in stock or where I can find one similar?

SA7-C oh how I want you...another long week....long drawn out week....

So far I am up to $692.22(three HG's) in my shopping cart and add in next week $229.90(2)SA7-C's = $922.17 Oh how the fun adds up!

I haven't seen if you guys have any AR15.com discounts. I always find out after I check out that there was.

If not, that's cool at least I asked first and won't feel bad about it later.

Yes and yes!

I just finished a new build today using the DA-7 clamp-on and a 13" Solo Lite, AR Performance 16" mid-length barrel - my clamp screw heads are kissing the inside of the rail, even left the tiniest bare spot in the anodizing inside the rail after a few mags of test fire!

Anybody else have this problem?  I know the rail is straight, gas block is centered in the tube, etc.  Any guesses?

It's a tight fit.
You are getting a bit of barrel whip that's all.

That makes sense, but even at rest it's touching.  It's such a tight spot I even borescoped it to see up close, and both screw heads are contacting the inside of the HG.  Is the Sentry 7C going to have more clearance?  If so I'll definitely be looking to upgrade, I really want a true free float.  With the addition of a suppressor I don't want any contact between the barrel/gas block and the HG

SA7-C is more compact at the bottom.

You can find some shallow head bolts I'm sure.
MSC should have them.

That's not a bad idea, do you know the screw specs offhand?

Kala, you can grind down and taper the screw heads that came with it,your not going to have to remove all that much,as i'm sure you can tell by looking with your borescope.

More are on the way. Previous customers will get an email notice when they arrive.
In your SLR web account you have to allow SLR to send you email updates.

We get a bunch in every time and they go in a matter of weeks. We doubled the amount coming this time.

Well, set screw Sentry 7 ordered

Can I assume that even though it's not listed in the specs these come with the gas tube roll pin and allen adjuster wrench?
