You are referring to the gen1,Syrac has a new Gen 2 out, i have one, They both have Click detent and work the same with different parts, SLR has the better system.Syrac was the smallest .750 clamp on that was out,Until the SLR Sentry 7 Series comes out friday.
The SLR Sentry has the better system with the way the detent works i think and it's gotta be lighter. Friday Damm thats today.

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of this Adj. GB vs the Syrac?

Click detent, no brass set screw to wear out after several adjustments and have to tighten down from the back of the block, which in most cases would require removing the gas block or handguard.

Yeah brainfart, I was thinking about the Seekins block, not the Syrac.

Received my Sentry .750 SS today and wow it is small. Love it. Going on my current project next weekend. I also order two of SLR's non adjustable micro GB's and they are damn near as small and they give you two for one. Thanks SLR

Cilp from 2 post above yours.

"We are going to be offering 3 more sizes of 2mm ball drivers here in the next week to help out the ones with gas blocks more than 4" under the HG."

Will the extended driver/adjustment wrenches be included with our order if selected at the time of checkout for those of us that run pistol length gas systems and handguards 12in and up?

Any know if the SA7c clamp on will bottom out in a centurion arms cmr rail? Seems like that rail is one of the tightests out there

By my math, both the SA7SSC and SA7C will work in the 308 CMR rail. But only the SA7SSC set screw version will work in the 556 CMR rail.

inside diameter of 556 rail is:  1.12"  https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3677
inside diameter of 308 rail is:  1.25"  https://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=3660

Set screw version with 556 CMR rail
The distance from centerline of bore on SA7SSC is:  0.545 = 1.365 - 0.82  . . . See http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=57_73&product_id=84
The distance from centerline of the 556 rail would be:  0.560 = 1.12 / 2

This would leave you 0.15" clearance between the bottom of the set screw block and the inside of the 556 rail....unless I'm doing something wrong.

Clamp on version with 556 CMR rail
The distance from centerline of bore on SA7C is:  0.580 = 1.40 - 0.82  . . . See http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=57_73&product_id=87
The distance from centerline of the 556 rail would be:  0.560 = 1.12 / 2

This would mean the bottom of the clamp gas block would extend 0.02" past the inside of the 556 rail....unless I'm doing something wrong.

Am I doing this wrong?  lol

Update: I set her at 6 clicks from 0 and she ran but did not lock open on last round. Turned to 8 and she runs great!

It is a DD 16" light weight middy with .750 gas block. Some day the feds will let my end cap come home and I'll test the adjustment.

How is the progress on the SA6-C or SA6-S? I checked the site and didn't see any .625 blocks.

Got my Sentry 7 clamp put on today and tested it with some mild reloads and my somewhat hot 75 OTM accuracy load.
I was surprised how much difference it made, made a soft shooting rifle even softer.
Can't wait to try shooting it at distance.

To clarify this SA6-C Clamp on is the .625 but in a clamp on version? And a separate set screw version of .625 is yet to be released?

It'll be tight in there but since it is using a smaller profile it should work in the cmr.
I'll be happy to send one out to a cmr user to to test fit. Don't have any around at the moment.
Just let me know.
We will make set screw versions too of the 6's soon.
