You asked for it, and we listened. Midwest Industries is now making our SSK (Keymod) handguard for the 308 pattern rifles.
Pictured here is the DPMS low pattern handguard on a Smith & Wesson M&P10. This 12" handguard weighs in at 12.4 oz with the barrel nut. The 15" is 13.3oz. Each handguard comes with one five slot rail section. Like everything MI it is made in the USA and is backed by our lifetime warranty. These will be shipping in two weeks.

What length to cover the gas block on a rifle length gas system (low profile adj gas block) AR10B w/ 20" bbl
 I'm assuming the 15" but I don't want to bury the gasblock and not be able to adjust. it.
I really like the looks of this one. SSK ROCKS!!!

Armalite handguards will run next. You would need a 12" to leave your gas block exposed for adjustment, or a 15" would cover it. |

Looks great.
I've been waiting an a decent keymod rail for my Armalite AR-10B for a while now and it seems like this may be the rail for me. I'll keep checking this thread for info on the release of the Armalite version. |

The 308 units are not on the web site yet. They will be added next week. We are two weeks out on dpms low 12 and three on the low 15. Then we will go to high followed by Armalite. Thank you.

Mint to post this on the ar-15 one..
Just bought a dpms g2 recon. Now you just need to make a Barrel nut for it so I can put this rail on. Hint Hint |

Let's see, all I need is: FDE 15 inch SSK LR-308 15 inch SSK 3-.308 three-port brakes. That'll do it. Might even keep me busy until the spring thaw gets here. |

Will these be shipping with your barrel nut wrench?
Also, I work for a FFL, so can you give me some idea as to which distributors will be getting these? I'd like to be able to start outfitting some of the S&W M&P10s if someone asks me for one. |

Does the 15" version weigh 13.3oz with the barrel nut?
Also, do these include a barrel nut wrench when ordering. I looked on the website and it doesn't specifically say what it will fit. I'm thinking about using one for my MATEN build. |

Mine had the barrel nut wrench in the package.
1/2" drive needed. The barrel nut should be included in the weight. It balances very well on my MP10. Does your MATEN use Armalite or DPMS pattern barrel nuts? If it uses DPMS, is it high or low? |

I put a few Noveske panels on and they fit perfectly.
This is a nice rail for the M&P10.
