They fixed tax thing. Coupon Code box wasn't there, but minute I placed order, coupon box showed up on the site I'll IM Todd and see if he can still honor ARFCOM coupon and refund the discount. |

Is rail/upper lined up, the picatinny appears to be off?
Or is it a camera issue? |

At SHOT in Vegas .
Gonna be tough to get on the forum or emails this week Please understand. Alfredo is home alone trying to run SLR so go easy on him. LoL He built our new site along with his many other talents . He will be available on the toll free line if you have any questions Thank you ! Todd |

The Solo increased in price by 10 bucks also. Shame about that. But at least they got the tax and coupon code thing worked out. I heard from Todd. No go on ARFCOM coupon code. He said "The coupon codes ended with the old site" Price went up $10 from his quote and no discount I guess over all $212 (10" Solo) shipped for quality key-mod rail anent too bad. |

Well that sucks..... I guess I'm in no rush to order my next SLR Rail. |

Ordered the 15" Solo 3G earlier this morning. I was able to put in the ARFCOM code & got $11.00 off my order. There was no tax, but there was shipping. I contacted Alfredo @ SLR about the lite weight 7075 nut as an option & he quickly responded on how to get it. So far, I'm very pleased. We'll see when the rail comes in.
|
|
Well...... how do you get the 7075 barrel nut ? Is it an additional cost ?
|
|
I put my request for the 7075 in caps in the comments section of my order. It shipped today so I'm hoping it worked...
|
|
Ordered a 15" Solo Lite. Alfredo and Tom did a great job taking care of me. Looking forward to getting it.
ETA: The 7075 nut doesn't cost extra. |
|
Ya, ask for the 7075 nut in the comment section when placing the order. No extra cost. I did hear from Alfredo today that they had a quality issue with the 7075 nuts. It may be a week or so until they have a new delivery to replace the F'ed up ones.

Wow! All versions of the 15" SOLO are out of stock already ...guess Todd and the SLR family will be busy, busy, busy real soon
BTW, have one of the early model (no tension screw in clamp area) 13" SOLO HG's and I am loving it!! Compared to my 12" Intrepid, it's a much more comfortable hold for my hands. Good job Todd...now just can't wait to see the planned Certakoted offerings, any idea which colors will be offered first? |

View Quote Good problem to have for SLR, no doubt. Still hoping for a Solo Lite 14 or better yet, 14.5. I believe that most handguard manuafacturers have not tapped the market for those who want to add a KX5 style, or other semi-shrouded muzzle device to the popular 14.5 in barrel. |

Is rail/upper lined up, the picatinny appears to be off? Or is it a camera issue? View Quote I'm wondering this as well. I looked at all the pictures in the thread and they give the same appearance. Is it just the angle at which the picture is taken or does it not sit at the same height as the upper? Also what is the advantage to the aluminum nut? Just less weight? I'm ready to buy a 10" today. However I would really like an 11 inch. Any more thought on making an 11? |

Should not be using this barrel nut? and where is the instruction? |

I was wondering the same about the nut...and are they automatically going to ship us the new batch when its ready?
Just curious dtd, did your nut come separate in the package or already threaded into the rail? Easy way to figure out which one you got is to weigh it... I got my 9'' today and she sure is purdy |

The brass tipped set screw is a spreader screw.. Back it out before tightening the clamp bolts. Then snug it up once the clamp bolts are set. It acts sort of like a lock to the clamp bolts.

I would be interested in picking one of these up.
I have a question though. What size barrels will the barrel nut accomodate? I have a larger, stainless bull barrel so it would need to fit over it. I guess an easier question to answer is: what is the internal diameter of the barrel nut? Thanks for your help! |

USPS seems to have screwed up somewhere as the tracking hasn't been updated since early morning Wednesday. So much for 1-3 day Priority, very annoying.
