Good job Earl, I will be buying one.

KE Arms won't budge on that shipping cost, looks like they are going to loose big.

Single-piece construction guarantees no parts to work loose or gaps to rust & corrode.

This i like...you going to work on any different versions?

I really recommend IWC. They have smart shipping solutions to save you money, reply really fast to customer service inquiries, will accommodate you when purchasing, and their products are solid. It gets to the point that you don't even notice them.

$3.95 shipping? I'm in!

And ordered!
Also added the QD slig attachment. Best of all, when I called an actual person answered the phone. It was Earl himself!
Kind of surprised me.

Their website shows in stock and living in Kansas I've always gotten IWC stuff in two or three days. Add one or two for Indiana.

Received my end plate today.
Well machined, fit great and the QD swivel fit and held.
Anti rotation stops worked well.

Great product for a great price.

2 days from CO. to IN.

I will be ordering more products from IWC.

Just got mine installed a couple hours ago. Looks like it's going to be solid.

I was screwing around with it shortly after I got it installed. I thought the QD on my MS4 was locked in when it wasn't. I dropped my rifle on my foot, muzzle first, and broke a bone. Rotten way to spend a Saturday.

Not your fault of course but still a helluva a way to learn a lesson about QD mounts.

Just received my copy in the mail this afternoon.  I bought this out of dissatisfaction with a Noveske endplate that I picked up recently but which I found to be poorly finished and generally lacking in quality.  Much happier with the Impact Weapons version.  Edges are smooth and consistent, finish is even, and the limited rotation socket is a nice plus.

Good stuff - I'll be picking up another one for my next build

Is this only for Mil-spec tubes? I have a commercial buffer tube and would love to have one of these.

I have the Noveske and its top quality. What I didnt know is that limited rotation QD existed. I would like to buy 2 of these to try out. Would the shipping be the same as for one?

Regarding the Noveske endplate: there must be a fair amount of variance among individual samples.  The one I have looks like an amateur machinist made it in his garage.  Or maybe I'm just picky.

I lifted the photo below from the Noveske website.  Look at the tab that fits into the groove on the buffer tube.  You can see displaced metal, small dents, etc.  Yeah, it's just an endplate, but still...

Kudos to IWC for making a better mousetrap (and for less money, too).

I should have ordered a QD Endplate instead of a Flush Mount QD Swivel and my order could have shipped today.

Received/installed mine today.   I will echo the comments of previous posters by saying it is a fine piece of equipment, indeed.  Extremely uniform.    The logo is proudly displayed on my rifle.

Just got mine in today, looks good. It is a dad bit thicker than my Magpul ASAP end plate. Also, it doesn't close with the Magpul ACS stock and Midwest Industries QD Swivel. I may be filing down the Swivel. Thanks!

Definitely noticeably thicker. My CTR and MOE would not close to position 1 even with my Noveske so this sure won't. But I wont say thats a bad thing either. If it already wont go position 1 than a little thicker/stronger certainly wont hurt...

I run a MOE & CTR both with Mil-Spec Buffer Tubes and they close to position 1, using both Noveske & IWC's plates. Wonder whats different in your set-up? During our R&D session today, we tightened the buffer tube one thread too far and found neither the MOE or CTR would close to Position 1. Maybe this is your issue?

ALL - Thanks for the huge support (purchases) and feedback on our End Plate. We REALLY appreciate all the comments!

Definitely not, how did you get the buffer retainer to work? I think you are misunderstanding. It wont close to position 1 when a QD is in place. I think you thought we meant that it would not close all the way with just the end plate and no QD installed?

I have a few different QD swivels a couple Troys and a couple I have no idea. The Troy release button gets pushed by the stock. Since the stock locks into that position technically the sling cant release, but by doing so it transfer the weight to the stock instead of the ball bearings in the swivel...

I want to install this on an AR pistol build...so I will have to file down the nub that slides into the groove on the underside of the buffer tube (I'm using an RRA buffer tube that doesn't have a groove)

My question is, will this stay put if I remove that nub?

They mentioned above some of their subcontracting was effected by flooding.

Only took 10 days to ship. Not too bad. Can't wait to put this on my Colt. Wish I knew somebody here in Cincinnati to do it for me though.

Same boat...placed my order on 9/26.  Not bitching...I understand when problems arise.  Just wondering if we could get an update on this?
