It might, we have the smallest bottom end of all the clamp on blocks out there I think.
I have that exact rail at the shop today
I'll get back to you later
Sorry for the late response

Can anybody confirm that the DA7-C fits under  Geissele MK4 and Troy Alpha rails?

I did some measuring on my Troy Alpha and it should fit without a rail mounted at the 6 o'clock position. It might be too tight with a rail.

Here you go. Troy on the right, our Solo on the left. Our ID is much smaller and our DA7-C fits no problem.

So I shouldn't have an issue with a Spikes BAR2 or Seekins MCSR then right?

Awesome, thank you.  Your clamp design does indeed look to be the most compact I've seen.  I prefer the clamp design to set screw when it can fit.  I'll be ordering one shortly to play with.

I believe their previous version was all solid. If it's any consolation, I use the DA7-SSC Lite (the one with the window cut out on both sides) pinned to my barrel. There's plenty of room and it's rock solid.

Its nice to have someone respond...also was concerned about the window on the clamping version...if it would it takes away clamping strength

What is the weight of the DA7-L?  I am building lightweight rifles for my children, and am comparing these to a few other options.

Any news or progress on this?  Will it incorporate parts/ideas from the new Sentry block?

Is this option dead? http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=60459

If not, will you be offering with the Sentry line?

I have looked on your website and there is nothing about it.

Thanks,

2 years late and a dollar short question:

Are the DA7's machined to to eliminate the space of the hand guard cap or do I need to use the spacer washer behind it to align with the gas port correctly? Rifle is Ar 10 and DA7 is earlier version, non windowed (solid), set screw.

Thanks

Took me an hour to read the thread. Amazing the people who come up with "why do we need this". Every one of my AR15s have been over gasses. So I fought it with heavy springs and T2 buffers. At the gun range 99% are over gassed, seen exactly 1 that was perfect.

Now that I have tried adjustable gas blocks I will be putting them on every one of my ARs. I like the raw stainless affect.

Getting a DPMS AR10 with 24 inch HBAR stainless barrel. While I pull the barrel off for threading (thinking about a can) I will get one of these sweet SLR gas blocks. Not sure how thick the barrel is, guessing 0.875 as they have a bull barrel that is probably 0.937.

So got a question maybe a stupid one but whatever. I just ordered the 15 in SLR solo and a cheapo low profile .750 gas block. Should that fit under the SLR hand gaurd or do I need their specific gas block. I'd eventually like to go to an adjustable block from what I'm reading is you can fine tune a little better. For now finances are tight.
