Wow, nice.

Looks much slimmer than my DD sling mounts. I may try one of these on my next rifle.

This is exactly what I wanted when I settled and got the VTAC Low Profile Sling Mount a while back. C'est la vie.

Now it's on my Rainier wish list for the next time I place an order...

Is there a cheaper option for shipping a couple of these in say, a padded envelope instead of the $7.95 fixed rate? If so, I'll bite.

I was about to pull the trigger on the DD unit. I like this better, and will order a couple of them.

Agreed....

I like it. Much lower profile than the DD sling mounts i have been using. Attaching the mount to the top rail seems a no-brainer. so why the hell have i been attaching sling mounts at 9 o'clock all these years?

That pic shows the one concern I have with the product. Possibly not enough clearance of the 9 o clock rail to put the swivel in a straight verticle position.

I guess the rail would decide that.

My Mk18 RIS II works fine verticle, i still run mine horizontal though.
