Barrel: A proprietary blend of Hammer forged chrome molly vanadium made by FN that is referred to as "Machine Gun Steel" by virtue of its use in FN's M249 and M240 weapons. The hammer forging process work hardens the steel, making it more durable. In addition, the chrome process for the bore allows for a lining almost twice as thick as a standard M16 for enhanced durability. 16" length, 300 AAC chamber with a 1:8 twist, MPI & HPT, chrome-lined, carbine-length gas port, and M4 feedramps.. Barrels are finished off with a taper pinned, f-marked, front sight post, standard handguards, and an A2 flash hider.

Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is made to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring machined T marks, and a mil-spec finish. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer, and are marked with the Palmetto State Armory logo on the left side, up front, just below the rail.

Bolt: Bolt is made of Mil-spec Carpenter 158 steel, Shot peened, and MPI. Gas key is secured with grade 8 fasteners and staked per mil-spec. Bolt carrier is parkerized outside, chrome lined inside, and laser engraved with the Palmetto State Armory logo

Each upper is assembled to order with care, and test fired.

I've been toying with the idea of a 300 Blackout for my next build and this is VERY tempting.

PSA, any chance you'll be offering shorter versions in the future? I'd really like to see a 14.7 with perm brake.

Either way, I look forward to doing business with you!

I have been thinking of a 300 AAC BO to use for hog hunting along with a suppressor of some make.

Way to be a dick before you look over the website:

http://palmettostatearmory.com/firearms-agreement3.php
The interstate shipping of firearms is regulated by the ATF and all firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).
Please follow these steps when placing your order:
1.Please carefully read the restrictions below.
2.Place your order online entering the business name of your FFL (Name actually on the license) and address in the shipping information portion of checkout.
3.Have a licensee of your choosing send us a current copy of their FFL with your order number. FFL's may fax (1-803-788-5756) or email (FFL@palmettostatearmory.com) a signed copy to us. (Please Note if we do not receive a copy of the FFL then your order will not be processed.)
4.Please wait 5-7 days for your order to ship. Wait times may vary based on current volume.
(You will be emailed a tracking number when your order ships)

That is pretty standard threading for just about everything AR.

Nice setup.
What upper receiver is that ?
Waiting on the short barrels for a pistol build.
Would like to use a receiver without the forward assist.

Thanks!!

Sorry for such a late response, but for some unknown reason, I don't receive e-mail notification from this forum.

My upper is from Rainer Arms, which is my second upper from them... Quality product at a great price!!

I"d also like a 14.5 or 14.7 option.

Any ideas when you will have the 8" instock? I might do a pistol too.
