My 9" gen2 should be here tomorrow! I am building a lightweight AR pistol, to become SBR and this thing looks to be perfect.

Great looking rail. Do you offer it in any of the true hard coat colors aside from black? There is a company in Michigan that does all true hard coat in FDE, Sand Matte and FDE. They developed those colors specifically for the military and LE markets. They also can fuse any graphic into the hard coat. Don't know the name of them, but I've seen their work and it's amazing.

Is the barrel nut similar to Troy's Xtreme...wondering if I could just slip one of yours over one of theirs saving me some effort

Looks like a homerun to me!.
I am not a QUAD rail type guy. The Troy's and DD's are the 2 that really had any appeal. After seeing the MI SS rail Gen 2, Out of the Ball Park on looks and looking at the mounting system should me tight! Good Work Guys. |

Will the DPMS or Black Dawn lo-profile gas blocks clear inside the Gen 2?
Will the MI barrel nut wrench supplied for installation also remove a stock barrel nut, or, do I also need a standard wrench? |

Question, I currently have a DD lite rail 14". Will this be a seamless swap with the barrel nuts? I bought my upper with the DD rail so I'm not sure what is needed if anything to swap the two.

You will have to change barrel nuts. Our hand guard is supplied with its own special nut. Thanks. Troy.

I'm getting the 15" version for my next build. I have a t series on my current ar and I love it. Expecting this one should be just as good.

Dang! I just finished an 18" upper with a MI Gen 1 quad rail. Wish I had seen this first.
The MI website installation video is not working for me. Do these just clamp onto the barrel nut? |

Yep basically. They send a new nut with it, with a wrench. Just slides over the nut with a few teeth that slide into the grooves. Two bolts on the end to tighten it. |
