The whole problem was my lower, NOT the RAIL. I filed on the rail as it seemed the better part to hide this.

Thanks Samson Manufacturing.

Here is a pic of the problem and fix I did. You can see how thick the front buss is on the lower.

Glad to see that they got you taken care of AND that it wasn't the rail that was the problem.

Great looking stick btw

So whats to say this wouldn't happen with most of the lowers out there? What made yours different? Thinking of ordering up this rail; just want to find more info on how your lower was the issue & not the design of this rail.
TIA.

Has anyone tried one of these rails with a Cav Arms MkII lower? I think the lugs for the front pin are a bit larger on the Cav than on a forged aluminum one, but I don't have mine in front of me to compare.

UPS just dropped off my 12 3/8"; I can't wait to get home and install it.
It looks great, and it's really lightweight.

Might be a dumb question but I'm unsure. What model would be correct for a 16 inch carbine with an Adams's Arms? Not sure if it's 7 EX or 9 EX. Thanks

I am waiting on my upper to be built with this rail. I am mate this hand guard to a Rainier Arms Ultramatch upper. I previously purchased a VTac but found that it hit the bottom of my low profile gasblock when the rail section was added under the gasblock. (inside backing plate). I am hoping since the Samson is a larger diameter that this will not be an issue. When I get it in, I will post pictures of my setup.

You'd want a 7 EX for carbine gas system, 9 EX for midlength gas system.

Would these rail systems work with the LWRC M6A2?

Series 9” 9.2 oz
Series 9”-EX 10.5 oz
Series 11” 10.5 oz
Series 12.37” 11.5 oz
Series 15” 13.4 oz

I am very curious to know if I can put a longer rail than the stock 7" or 9" rails CURRENTLY offered by LWRC.

A friend of mine told me he read/saw something that when this fore end is mounted you can't pivot the upper open for cleaning. Looking at the pictures in this thread it appears this isn't the case, but can those that have installed them confirm or deny this. It's not a deal breaker for me, I'm just curious because this friend isn't always the most reliable with tech info (he's the guy that thinks it true because it's on the internet).

Also, will these fit over any low pro gas block? Does it have to be pinned, set screwed, or will clamp style work. I've got the factory 16" M4 profile barrel that came on my LMT upper.

hello,
in regard to the interference when shot gunning the upper open, there was minor interference. the clamp tabs would hit alowing you to only open the receiver by about 75%. this is still plenty of room to get in there and clean or clear a blown primer however we did address the issue and added clearance at the back of the clamp.

as for the LP-GB, the inside diameter of the Evolution is 1.56". as long as the LP-GB does not exceed that you should be fine.

thanks,

hello,
the Evolution rail will fit the LWRC M6A2. you can float it right over the gas block. it does contact the knuckle on top of the gas block but when mounted with that contact it makes the rail flat and in line with the upper receiver.

Any chance of getting a pic of this? I started asking over 6 weeks ago and was told, "after the Shot show". Just curious if this something you guys can do. I can always order a DD 9.5 FSP rail but I would prefer to go with a round one for this build (Troy doesn't make a TRX with a FSP cut out). Thanks.

Can the smaller rail sections be mounted at different angles on these like the regular evo's? More Pics?
