We are proud to announce our new brand line of Black Weapons Armory Manufacturing AR-15 components.

The new X-Comp compensator by Black Weapons Armory delivers superior muzzle flip reduction that is unmatched.

The X-Comp produces a light straight back recoil instead of producing muzzle rise. This design allows the shooter to fire the rifle and stay on target with minimal adjustment. Most compensators and flash hiders cause the muzzle to rise up and lengthen the time needed for the shooter to reacquire the target.
Double taps and hammers are faster and more accurate since the second shot will be closer to the original sight picture.

The X design incorporated into the tip of the compensator and interior chamber design helps reduce the flash, which produces a much smaller signature that is normally produced by muzzle brakes.

Caliber: 5.56
Thread: 1/2 x 28 RH

Material: 4140 Steel hardened to 35RC
Finish: Black Oxide Coating per Mil-C-13924

Looks pretty sweet, but I'm gonna need some serious testimonials before I can justify $109 + shipping.

If it really does reduce recoil and muzzle rise, then it's closer to being worth the money that it would be if it were just another cool looking muzzle device.

Some YouTube demo videos of rifles with and without the device, maybe?

For that kinda money I'd expect to hear statements telling of how it'd been heat treated
& hard chromed. There are too many proven muzzle devices out there by well known
manufacturers for less money. Not a bad looking comp, just too expensive.

I would like to know if you compared your Comp/FH against the Primary Weapon Systems FSC556, and what would the BATFE classify this as for ban states a compensator or a flash hider.

Select a few members to do some field testing and report back on it's performance. I will try it on my M16 against a A2 and post a video if you like.

is it BATF approved for us unfortunate people who are still under the AWB. and like the others have said 110 bucks is a little steep unless this is really that much better than anything else inwhich you need to show us.

I'm one of the few lucky one's who have had the opportunity to T&E one of these Comps.
I can assure everyone that in six months this will be considered the standard comp to have on the front of your rifle.
Don't just dismiss these guys they are the real thing.
Thanks
BWA for the opportunity to T&E your new Comp you have a Customer with Adams Arms.
We will all be running these at our 3-Gun in September

I got a chance to try this comp out with Jim over the weekend. All I can say is .... HOLY CRAP this thing is awesome. Less felt recoil than anything else we had out there. And it looks cool too. Guess I know what's going on my next build.

GREAT JOB GUYS!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

I've had a PWS FSC556 on my rifle for quite a while. I really liked it until I recently purchased the new BWA X-Comp. Not only does it validate their cliam that it eliminates muzzle flip but my groups have tightened up. This thing is awesome. Hmmm...I guess the PWS 556 is going to make a great paper weight!

BATFE approval...not yet. We're getting ready to send it over to them and have it checked out.
We'll post back here after we get word from them about the classification.

Video, it's coming soon. We have video at night, and also with a competitor's comp.

More details will be posted soon....

It looks like Sabre Defence's shark brake with four short prongs for a flash hider. Cool looking, but does it redirect muzzle blast in your face (as the shark brake)?

We've sent some of the X-Comps out to different companies for testing and have had excellent results with muzzle blast. We haven't had a problem with muzzle blast in the face, and have no reports of it. Some Army guys that have tested it report that the side and rear muzzle blast is less than the other comps out there.

Looks great, by great I mean evil as fuck, which is a plus. can't wait to see it in action, that will be the difference.
the tromix brake looks like it will eat your face, then rape whats left. but all that gas in your face sucks.
so far the FSC looks like the best, great flash killer, I'd like to see how these two stack up against each other.

Interesting!

I'd like to try one out. Has anyone done a report or online write up of one compared to other tac comps like the DNTC, JP BC, SF comp etc?

I'm one of the fortunate few who have had a chance to my hands on the new BWA X-Comp. There is no comparison between the FSC 556 and the BWA X-Comp. Not only does the X-Comp live up to it's claim of no muzzle flip but the flash supresion at night is far superior to the FSC 556. The FSC 556 at night looks like an arial bomb going off on the 4th of July...really distracting to the shooter.

The great folks over at Black Weapons Armory have agreed to give some of these super sweet comps as sponsorship toward our up coming 3-GUN
So come out and shoot and find out for your self how amazing the x-comp is.
Even if you dont shoot come out and ask for me and I'll make sure you get some trigger time.
Thanks

FYI here's the material specs:

- 4140 Steel Hardened to 35RC

- Finish: Black Oxide Coating per Mil-C-13924

The comp in addition to the other products we are coming out with WILL be Mil-Spec, and we're not just using that as a trendy marketing term.

The specs, tolerances, finishes, etc will all be mil-spec, and we will have videos out in the future demonstrating the difference between items manufactured correctly, and other commercial grade parts that are sloppy or out of spec.

Also we are working on videos right now. We have some night footage that we need to finish editing and hope to have it up in the next few weeks. We also plan on having full auto comparision videos done in the near future as well (hopefully within the next month).

A video of an FA night shoot would make an awesome testimonial.
