Been a long time lurker around here, never been a huge poster on any forums but I thought Id share some of my retros.

My SP1 that started my retro craze, put the 3 prong on it and old surplus furniture.

The next is my XM177e2 clone, I put this together on an Anderson lower that I reprofiled, not perfect but a nice little shooter.

These 3 are my Colt Sporterll with fake M203, my Clone built out of all colt parts except for the McKay lower and my old Palmetto Armory that I picked up a few weeks ago, its all Colt as well except for the lower, only paid 600 for it because the owner at the store said it was nothing but a parts gun.........

I have more but will have to take pics and post later.

Those are awesome! Is that XM177 moderator one of the slip-over types, or is it a short barrel with it pinned in place? Thinking of doing an XM build soon myself.

I'd thought about putting an M203 onto one of my rifles, but never got past the 'thinking about it' stage. I had one on one of my M16's in the Army. It wasn't really my favorite thing.

Is the M203 a Cobray 37mm flare launcher?

Thanks everyone, I love these Retro rifles, its truly an addiction. The one with the m203 on it was bought by my mom as a Christmas gift to my Dad in 1985. Its a franken-gun straight from Colt. Slabside lower, c7style upper, govt profile barrel with a2 furniture...... Gun has very little rounds thru it..
