If I were to buy a Del-Ton parts kit with the 20" barrel, a lower receiver, and a M16-A2 upper; would I have the correct parts to assemble a fairly close A-2 clone. I know the rate of twist of the parts kit barrel is 1 in 9" and not the 1 in 7" of the issued rifle, but other than that, what would the other differences be? I still have a lot to learn about retro guns so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you, Tom.

You have to get the government profile 20 ' barrel and the non f marked front sight. You can choose those options on the Delton site including a A2 upper, but it shows they are out of stock of the A2 upper at this time.
