So I know i've been doing the patches for the last couple of years. Again i'm sorry for the delay in getting some of them out during the summer. In any case to make amends for that I thought I'd do a run of tshirts for the 60th anniversary of the AR15. I was thinking of doing a run of 20-40 and shipping them to the retro heads here. There won't be a charge for them at all, after everything this community has done for me over the years it is the least I can do. I've put a proof of concept below. Thoughts or comments are appreciated (please ignore the diagonal watermark thing).

No watermark, but if it was in 3x / small bear size I'd buy it.  I like the sight adjustment theme.

Your art, but I'd move the 83 date to the left side like the other dates.

And were I to buy it I would prefer it on the back of my shirt not the front.

And its 60 years

Agreed. And on the front, a small silhouette of a 603 (or any of the other variants) would look nice on the right chest "pocket".

Please do not use the MaTech BUIS outline. Use the KAC BUIS. I feel it would be more appropriate anyway, since it's much older. I think it was adopted when the first flat top M4A1's were produced for SOCOM.

I am SO TURGID right now! That is an awesome concept for a shirt!

If you leave the dates and drop the model number it won't trigger the snowflakes because they will have no clue what they are looking at!

Then you lure them in when they ask questions and when they see you an alright guy you TRIGGER THEM!

Outstanding!

I'd actually done 15 variants but I just posted to one. One of them was like yours the other was a vertical pattern just using the sights. I can post some more tonight.

Sizing info?

Well figure on Mediums and some Larges for the young bloods and some XL's and XXL's for us fuller figure old guys!

I'm clinging to the XL bracket. Tenuously but I'm still there.

I've been playing with that. Personally I work out and i'm a dandy so i'm going to get myself a small lol but I was going to do Mediums through XL. I was going to get some 2XL's also. I really wanted to keep the order around 40 shirts max. I want to get the design finalized before the 15th so I can place the order before the first and hopefully get these out in Jan or early Feb.

I'm not just an ol' gunner.  I'm a fat gunner--and one of those 2XLs!
Keep me posted--I'm happy to help offset costs.  And thanks for taking this on--it's a great idea!

Ok so here were some other designs. The reason I orginally added text is that my SO said the earlier sight logo looked like a boob over the left chest area.

So these are the two I did without text. Kinda like the one suggested above. I also added the little tag line to the bag of the shirt modelled supremely by this clip art guy (i spent literally 10 seconds on that last pic so please excuse the quality).

I hear what some of you are saying about the KAC sight instead of a matech one. I didn't have one for reference but if someone can get me some side on shots I could swap it out and do my own line drawing of it.

Please keep the MaTech.  Most of us who have carried one recently had the damn thing.  They're nice until they wear out.

Most had one because they are cheap crap. Lowest bidder and all that.

It's not a bad sight new.  Adjustable for windage & trajectory out to 600 yards.  It's just that once it wears out, it'll drive you crazy on the zero range unless you remember to check it before every shot.

I took one out of the wrapper and effortlessly snapped the screw head off installing it, so I'd say they're even bad new. There wasn't solid metal where the head met the threaded bolt body.

Also, the high number of them constantly being turned in to DRMO is staggering.

Like the model T they will only come in black I'm afraid. If you want one please PM me your sizing information so I can start keeping a list.

Again this is the final design:

Looks great.  Is there something funky about the spacing between the 5 & the 7?

It is the way it looks on the image just because of the compression when I saved it. In real life it will be in line properly
