I am currently working on a Colt 633 build starting with an 80% lower. My plan is to have the receiver drilled to match the original two piece mag block and use short pins for the appearance and use a Hahn precision bottom insert block. Who out there offers this service? I have have contacted M60Joe, but he isnt interested due to being 80% lower. If I can't find any gunsmith or machinist interested I will try it myself but want to check other options first.

Im going to be using braceman for the engraving. He turned out 80% lowers for other retro builds I have. I will check with him.

Anyone have measurements on the Colt pin placements? I know I cant be too hard and will be easy work with a drill press just want to make sure it is done right.

I have an original Colt SMG mag well demil that was rewelded by Brace to an 80%'er. Its a busy week but maybe I can get into my shop to take some measurements (if your block adapter is similar, that is). Let me know

John Brace can do it.  He did my 633 lower (it was an 80% when it was sent to him).
