.... Sorta... Still need a few things to make it more correct (FCG, and HG polished up- specifically) but I think it turned out great. Thanks to the forum members on this amazing site for all your help.

Looks awesome. It'll be a while before I finish mine, but my Form 1 came back approved. I need to finish the lower receiver. Then get most of the stuff for the upper.

Looks great!

I would not polish the HGs. They look just as good as the rest of the furniture.

They're not perfect. I had to shim them with some tightly folded tin foil...

That's awesome! I'd hit that 3 prong with some steel wool to take away the new look. Also the FSB.

Absolutely. It's looks rather out of place now that I look.

The barrels a BCM pencil weight, reprofiled by Braceman. Braceman all did the barrel, FSP, lower engraving work. He's the cats pajamas.

The lower was cerakote locally by a guy on the cheap. He tried to match the original upper as close as he could. Went a little crazy with the sand blaster, but it looks ok. For the cost, very happy.

Edit: while I'm giving shout outs... Heatnbeat made the amazing HG retainer. Thing is VERY well made, fit like a glove.

That's very nice, I like the hand guards as is.  Really cool upper receiver.  Is there wear inside the carry handle along the back?  I have one with wear there, it almost looks like it was hung from a hook or something.

Thanks brother. I didn't chop mostly because I didn't care for the look. I may try it out down the road, but for right now I'm happy with the full.

The wear under the carry handle looks pretty uniform, hard to tell.

Another shout out to Hunterex, one of the most generous dudes on this site. Thanks for the webbed gear and sling set up.

Zakk...I can't tell in your photos if it's engraved 607 or GX-5857.   Which is it?........and brother, that is one cool looking carbine. The used/worn look is just "right" for a 50 yr old carbine. Congrats.

Thanks brother, means a lot coming from you. It's engraved "Mod .07" of course sir! I need to try and do some "aged" color fill. I'm a bit skeerd though . Maybe try some white nail polish then run a little dirty oil on her...

I love it! Especially that lower and the finish job. Who did the engraving? And is that an anodized finish you aged?

Braceman did the engraving. Lower was cerakoted/media blasted.

Wow! That looks Great Zak!!

I love the worn look! The Cerakote looks good too,

I agree with others though that a worn treatment to the 3 prong would be the icing on the cake. I like to rough the tip of them up with a tap or 10 on the concrete. maybe dull the buffer tube down to simulate some sliding action too... Last of all... Heat the barrel up with some sustained fir and add it as your new avatar

BTDT is my favorite look of all! Great Build!
