Thank you to those of you who replied to my first thread, I was instructed to relocate to the appraisal forum so, please do not think I ignored you! To pick up where we were, what I have is an all Colt U.S. Govt. upper, built around a Pre ban, late 70s SGW "Palmetto Armory" billet receiver. I have been told that these receivers are extremely rare. My question is, we're these guns assembled and sold commercially? Or was this likely put together by an enthusiast? Also, what kind of value would this combination have? I think I got a pretty sound deal, but would like to know what it's worth in today's market. Again, thank you in advance for any insight!
