Got this together, upper is a C MP B marked barrel and early 603 upper with recessed front pin, mated to a Nodak full fence lower.
Decent color match and great fit, with no wobble.

I hit a premium PSA parts kit with $3.87 a bottle Krud Kutter Rust Remover, it took the LPK down to gray park in just a few minutes..

Still needs a proper trigger guard and a few other touches. I love it!

Thank you to NDS and all of you RBR afficionados.

ARMSON used as a prop.. Yes it works and No it's not for sale.

The nds lowers run on the tight side. Too tight sometimes. Looks good.

I bought a couple of XM grey trigger guards from AR15Sport.

They also sell XM grey mag release buttons, and a number of other retro style parts.

I have plans for a no tick, XM Grey Mag button substitute. Also I have a proper A1 port door and the above mentioned Grey trigger guard. Also gotta swap in a Colt Grey buffer tube.

I bought the upper here on the EE, complete. With my limited knowledge it looks like maybe an Army rebuild as it has no Colt proofs that I can see. Barrel is excellent C MP B.  It came with the A2 port door so it's been apart or rebuilt etc, Prob..

Regards!

Good to know that trick works on PSA parts. I have a PSA FCG I may be using for another project that I might do that with.
