Not looking for the real deal, reproductions would be fine. Having a hard time finding the retro-style triangular handguards. Can someone point me to an online resource. I've googled like crazy and can't seem to find any.
Thanks,

Dave

you will not find any repros, but you can find decent original sets on EE all the time for $25-40 range. Just so you know, you will have to change out your front handguard cap to the triangle type before you can put them on.

If you don't find any on the Equipment Exchange here you can also usually find some really nice clean sets on eBay if you type in SP1 or A1 rifle in the search box.

Does Fulton even sell full length A1 style triangle handguards?

I did not see any at Fulton or AR15Sport. Of all the suggestion only the ebay search for A1 popped up any, a well used set for 80 bucks. Hmmm, Unobtanium?

AR15Sport has their "excellent" condition available for $99/set. "Good" condition at $59/set is on back order.

Awesome, Thanks!

Still seems odd that nobody is making knockoffs of these as popular as the original "look" is. I wonder if Colt will release them separately when they release their new retro models.

I got a decent set shipped to me for $28 from a shop in Alabama. I can get you their contact info if you like. I found them on Facebook.

Doesn't the 20" already have a triangle cap? My 20" DTI came with one.

This. I thought all ARs equipped with factory rifle length HGs had a triangle cap regardless of barrel length..?? Example, the Dissy platform.

I've seen both, my dissy DTI came with the round cap.  Just looked on the PSA site, their 20" uppers are shown with round caps
At least it looks that way to me

Sherluk Defense M16 Furniture

$40 + shipping, no cracks or broken teeth. Many builders use triangle caps as later HGs will fit but not vice versa.

Gunbroker has some furniture sets selling for like a hundred dollars. So does eBay. That would be too much for me.

Keepshooting.com has them for $20, but they are out of stock.

I apologize, but it looks like my Google-fu has failed today. Keep lookin. If I run across anything, I will post it here.

My set came from eBay. The lower bolt in the stock that came with them is completely siezed to the sling loop with rust. I should have bought the "excellent super duper quality" grade.
