I am digging the shorter barrel and full h/g and stock.. Might go ahead and shorten it all the way.

Not bad!  The shorter barrel doesn't look bad at all.
I love parts-pile builds!

Nice thing about those old parts pile builds is you don't have to worry about scratches and dings or colors matching.  Those are my favorite kind of builds.  Like an old pair of jeans.

Nice job Jhud.

Very nice find and really like the look of your parts-bid rifle.

Curious to hear and see the results of your visit to the range.

It shoots like dream. The sight needed moving to the right  (normally its the opposite, werid)..

I might go ahead and shorten it all the way.. whats that a 605??

It groups good offhand.
The bipod clamped to it rubbed the paint off.
Has an MP on the side

Not a bad deal.  Now I know it's a solid colt build

Even worked after having some water dumped into the magwell.
