Received my 607 stock today. More than happy with it. Matt has been a pleasure to deal with and has taken a lot of his time to answer questions I had.

Without further ado...

Can't wait for my stuff. Things are happening.

Matt, you got any pics you could throw up when you have time, you know, to get me through this difficult waiting period....?

He's just hanging around waiting on a forging to hook up with. He said he wasn't sure if you really wanted him or not. I think he has the beginning signs of attachment disorder.

I wonder if Dr. Thomas offers Retro therapy?

Wait, maybe I need therapy if the parts are talking?

The hydraulic innards are smooth but kind of scare me if I had to work on it. It was only 3k and less than an hour from home so it fit the bill. It keeps tolerance very well for an old used machine.

Did you go for the "authentic" looking engraving on the side with the colt logo on the mag-well and manufacturing location above the trigger group pins?
I am wondering about what to do for mine, so when I get it engraved it looks the part.   Do you have your name/address or trust name some where unobtrusive?   Or would somewhere like the front of the mag-well, which is where I had my other lowers engraved with my trust name.  Or did you just put you city, state where Hartford CT would be?

I've build my own SBRs before but used regular lowers that were already serialized.   But going from an 80% to SBR is uncharted waters for me.

I had mine engraved as if it were an issue piece.  Marked full on authentic with the GX-5857.

Name and addy on the trigger well

Braceman does my work.

Thanks for the answer.  And for the picture - will give me a better idea of what to ask for when I get mine back from liv4now.
